The 1982 Kangaroos v 2008 Kangaroos

If the 1986 Kangaroos played this current Australian side, they would decimate them. If one of the weakest kiwi sides can put 34 points on them, just what would the 86 team do? I forecast a 48-12 scoreline with Kenny Miles and Lewis scoring doubles.

Actually that should read the 1986 side and not 1982, although that side 4 years earlier would also destroy this current side. In fact if i had the name a composite side from 82, 86, 2008, this would be my team- 1-EADIE 2-BOUSTEAD 3-MENINGA 4-KENNY 5-GROTHE 6-LEWIS 7-STERLING 13-PRICE 12- BOYD 11-CLEAL 10-ROACH 9-SMITH 8-YOUNG Res-14-Rogers, Lindner, Miles, Davidson.
I would select only Cameron Smith at hooker.

You have lost the plot by selecting Smith ahead of Krilich (82) and Simmons (86). Petero would be the only player to make the 82 side, with Heather possibly at fullback.

And the Kiwi side is one of the best. Class right across the park, and no chinks in the armour.

I think he's being sarcastic in light of Smith slowly but surely being shown up to be a fraud.
