An Update you everyone,

Just looking through my foxtel book and went to check the 28th Feb to see what time the charity shield starts on Fox. FMD it is not on.
They have Rugby Union Fox Sports 2, A League Grand Final Fox Sports 1 and Cricket Test Aus vs South Africa.

I hate ANZ Stadium and planned to watch on TV but looks like I am going now.

IMO its not the footy season without the Charity Shield on FOX

I am going to shoot them off an email asking wtf is going on.

I have been a customer for a few years, the main reason I am a subscriber is because of the rugby league. I have heard that austar/foxtel are not screening this years chrity shield match, St George Illawarra v South Sydney scheduled for 28/02/09. Considering the most popluar sport watched on pay tv subscription in Australia, I am hoping that this is a simple scheduling oversight, and not austar/foxtel showing contempt for Australian rugby leage supporters.

don't go off too early guys, they always show the Charity Shield.
It might be placed on to Main Event or something.
I'd be very surprised if FOX don't show it.

not sure about this... if super 12 has started by then then they have to show that because of the contract. same thing if the a league grand final is on... and if the test is live from south africa then that will be on as well...

only thing i can think of is isn't the a league grand final only on a sunday?

hopefully it's a mistake.

IMO its not the footy season without the Charity Shield on FOX

Foxtel will show it on either Fuel or Main event (free of charge)

Fox have shown afl ad nrl games on these channels before whn the foxsports channels are booked with other sports like a league.

Fox have been advertising the CS all off season dont fret it will be shown

mate, just because we don't really worry about the result because it's a trial, doesn't mean that we don't want to see our team playing. Personally I'd like every Saints game in every grade televised each week ..as well as all trials.

maybe you need to re-visit a dictionary and find out what a hypocrite actually is.
