So you're saying that your club didn't take out a $500K loan to pay staff before Chrismas or Zappia isn't calling for NRL handouts or that they haven't been bailed out before? I don't want the Sharks to die farkwit, but instead of asking for handouts, how about getting your own house in order first and doing some WORK, like growing your junior team base, increasing memberships and sponsorships and developing other revenue streams.

Try pulling your head out of your arse and start smelling the roses instead of your own crap for a change, dickwad.

If the Sharks die (and no, I don't want them to), it will be their own fault and they will have no one to blame other than their own incompetent management.

i dont bash clubs like some on here, i am a rugby league fan and i like to watch all teams play, i might take a swipe at a club, but its not what some on here are doing to my club and i dont like the crap that continually goes on about my club

Any CEO who sticks their neck out and makes a statement asking for NRL handouts like TZ did should expect to be criticised, especially when they've publicly demonstrated that they can't manage their own finances and were consequently knocked back by the bank for a $1M loan.

If the Sharks aren't in trouble, then why were they seeking a $1M loan and why didn't the bank give it to them? How would you have paid your staff without the $500K they agreed to loan you? Considering that scenario, it may have been financially prudent and responsible to show some restraint and not spend your entire cap.
