Their performance against the Lions tonight was simply the worst performance I've seen from any team in a long long time. They don't look like they know how to play the game, they play as if they're playing league and I have to question the coaching up there. Their fans deserve better.

That was f**king awful. I only watched the first 25 minutes of the second half but to let in a try with the other team having 13 men on the field is a joke. I don't know why I support this team every year. The stream I was on cut off with 10-15 to go so I didn't have to watch the rest of the game.

Count yourself lucky because that was horrible and to think that almost half the team has represented Australia.

I thinks its time the Wallabies pick more players from teams that did well. Meaning the Waratahs get rewarded with more players getting picked and Reds less. Harsh but fair because we've been useless this season and have been for 10 years. I'd say Digby Ioane, Berrick Barnes and James Horwill are the only ones guarenteed to deserve a starting 22 spot in the Wallabies team. Even Barnesy has been out of form though.

It's the pressure of the demands for a Melbourne market though. Melbourne Storm are building up that presence. There has to be a lot more regulations for foreign players if it happens.

I agree with you. Ioane would be playing on the wing in a better team and yeah, I don't know about Barnes.

Along with the Fremantle Dockers, the worst professional football team in Australia.

Yeah...they certainly were sh*t against the Blues...a team which contained how many All Blacks?

Barnes had a blinder. As did Genia. The Reds forwards monstered the Blues for a good 55 minutes there.

Awesome game...and most likely f**ked a lot of guys tips!

Yeah what a difference a week makes. They deserved to be leading by more going into HT and I thought they were going to run away with it leading 31-5. Watching the game at the ground, I thought that they probably would have put more on without Quade Cooper at 10. The Blues were sh*t but that's not taking anything away from the Reds who were outstanding for the first 60 mins.

They would have scored another try had Quade Cooper not passed it behind Lucas...or even passed it sooner for that matter.

Great to see the mongrel Qld forwards of old coming back to the fore. I would be very excited if Elsom signed with them next year

Can I ask where this mongrel was against the Lions because they were a different side on Saturday in awful conditions. Well done Reds and maybe the stoppage really did affect the Blues.

If they play like sh*t against the Brumbies this weekend I will be more than a tad unhappy.

I think the result of the Lions game may have sunk in a bit and I dare say Mooney would have told them a few positions were on the line. If they played like that every week then they'd be up there in the top 4.

Quade Cooper is a liability. Much like Carlos Spencer and Benji Marshall in that when he is hot...he is really hot...but when he is not he is a shambles.

Barnes is white hot though.

I think you're being very kind towards Quade Cooper there. I don't rate him at all and he's played for Australia hasn't he ? At least Spencer could take control of games when he wasn't feeling selfish but sadly when he performed badly, the team would perform badly. I'd almost be tempted to shift Berrick Barnes to 10 if I were you guys but I don't know what sort of depth you guys have at 12.

I actually like the Barnes-Cooper duo. Switching between the two positions is working well for Qld...and its something we'll see when Giteau and Barnes team up in the Wallabies. It gives an air of unpredictability when defending.

I reckon Cooper is a better inside centre than 5/8...but I've also seen him play fullback and he was pretty darn good. He blew 3 tries on the weekend though...and the Reds were lucky they had points on the board.

Ioane certainly is playing well at outside...and I drool at maybe seening O'Connor (how good is this kid....reminds me of Tim Horan when he was 19) at 12, Ioane at 13 and Barnes at 10 for Qld one day
