Just wondering if anyone knows his status at the moment?

Saw him named in QLD cup a few weeks ago and he would have been the logical choice for the wing fill in due to Hodges being out. Glenn took the wing spot but doesn't have the pace of height to compete and I read that Tom Hewitt was training at wing throughout the week but no sign of Yow Yeh..

Is he injured?

Josh Hoffman had shoulder surgery a while back. He should be due back soon, either this month or next month.

I think Yow Yeh got injured in a recent under 20's game. Can anyone confirm?

As an aside, I read that the under 20's beat manly 36-20. A case of bottom beating the top. I wonder if the return of McCullough had anything to do with it. Anyone see the game and have more details?

I saw Josh Hoffman back training with the NRL squad, running but wasn't doing any contact work. Yow Yeh was injured in NYC lost against Newcastle.

Cheers mate. Looks like he is named in the 20s this week.. Hopefully he gets some first grade soon.

Hodges should be moved to left centre as he is more adaptable than Folau. Folau and Yow Yeh on the right and Hodges and Winterstein on the left would look good.

I'd also be playing Alex Glenn instead of Michaels at left centre.

Yeah, he was going to be selected for queensland. His form was better at the time than Darius Boyd. I think he's a strong defensive player without as many thrills as others (Yow Yeh). Michaels came thru ranks with Berrick Barnes and they use to have quite a good combination but it was on the right side. Not suggesting a change there. Our right side is the best in the league which brings me to acknowledging that there is a problem with our left side pairing. It is leaking tries !!!!! Is it winterstein or michaels or both? At the moment i believe its both. Although winterstein has scored off some bombs he has also let tries in the other end due to not diffusing bombs. Michaels has been intimidated out of matches most notably in the st george game by sailor. I think it is more to do with him not showing confidence in his outside man and in experience playing with winterstein rather than his tackling technique. Henjak could decide to put glen and yoh yeh on this side but they both have been playing on the righthand side so i think nothing will change. Also glen has been used in defence as a lockyer protector so it will definately not happen unless setu steps up to the plate. At the moment setu not consistent with his form for this role. Teo is back and henjak uses him and glen to defend beside lockyer during games.

Yow Yeh is a freak talent and needs to be kept in the side. Unfortunately there is no spot for him. A bench role wouldn't appeal. If you were to lose a winger he would be a most noteworthy replacement. Kudos for Ben Hunt as well. Except he would be a halfback. Should be interesting come origin time? The Baby Broncos come to the for, again

just to bring this back on topic, yow yeh played in the under 20s agaisnt Titans on Friday - had a good game aswell. Does anyone know if this will be a ongoing thing similar to Ben Hunt or will they move him back into Qld Cup?

Unsure catch 22 what the status of either player is. I get the feeling they'll remain in Under 20's until they get a call to play first grade.
