ABC radio has reported that Tongue could be out for the rest of the season!

Definitely our for tomorrow and so is Carney...

Ligament damage in his wrist. Probably explains a number of missed tackles that you otherwise wouldn't have seen from the great man. Apparently they're trying a cortisone injection, but if he doesn't respond to that then it could be season over for him.

his form this season has barely warranted a first grade spot. Although furner is to blame for this, using him as a playmaker when his job should be to just tackle.

This is a disaster. The only man who can take his spot - bare with me - is Joey Picker. Can play 80 minutes and is a tackling machine. Needs to get his head back though.

That's an absolutely massive loss and hopefully he is back before then. While i don't rate him as highly as Raiders fans, he's a good player with plenty of heart and a great leader.

Definitely not good news for Terry Campese who already looked to be trying to hard. SO much weight is being put on his shoulders now.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Picker's form hasn't been great either, but replacing Tongue with Thurling means we need another 80 minute player in the team, so JP is the ideal man.

Tongue will be a big loss. I think his tackling form has been effected by this injury and he has had to take on more playmaking responsibilities because our dummy halves have been poor. That's not his fault.
