Raiders V Dragons
Canberra Stadium
Saturday, 15th August 2009
7:30 PM Kick off

As you all would have heard by now, Pete and I are organising 4 coaches to take 200 Dragons supporters to Canberra for our Round 23 clash against the Raiders.

We've set the number at 200 people, however if need be... more coaches can be arranged.

This year we will be bundling the bus ticket and match ticket all into one price which is:

$41.40 per ADULT.

This is based on these numbers: Bus ticket = $26.40 + Match ticket = $15

(THE RAIDERS HAVE ADVISED US THAT THEY WILL SELL US $15 TICKETS, IN BULK. SO ALL MONEY NEEDS TO BE PAID BY THE END OF JULY)

Otherwise tickets can be purchased:(http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/Show.aspx?sh=RAIDHOME09)

Payment can be made to this bank account:

Name: Stelios Matos
Bank: Commonwealth
BSB: 062 703
Account: 1004 7859

Please include your full name if depositing via internet.

Or to Pete and myself in person.

The coaches will be departing the St. George Leagues Club at 1:30pm on the day (Saturday 15th August) and we will be returning back to the leagues club straight after full time.

Arrival time: approx 1:30am.

There will be ONE stop off on the way to Canberra (toilet, lunch etc). There will not be a stop off on the way back to Sydney, however the toilets on the coaches will be functioning on the return trip.

If you do not wish to pay for the bundled bus/match ticket and you have other ways of purchasing the match ticket, you can then simply only pay for the bus, the cost of this is: $26.40 per person.

If you are making your own way to Canberra, but would like to purchase tickets with the Dragon Army, please contact us and we will add your tickets onto our bulk purchase. Tickets are $15 (BEFORE THE END OF JULY) AND $25 AFTERWARDS.

This is going to be a great trip people, we look forward to it and hope that you spread the word and help make this the biggest Dragon Army on tour to Canberra ever.

Fire up and UP THE MIGHTY DRAGONS!

I'm in!

Could we possibly get involved with the Red V Members group buy?
15 bucks is a steal and they have a bay available.

This was in the recent Red V members email - Interview with Wayne Bennett (after Chooks match)

Raiders v Dragons, Saturday July 15th at Canberra Stadium

Discounted seating for Red V Members has been secured for what is looking to be a blockbuster of a match.

Red V Members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in a reserved section for only $15!

To take advantage of this great offer you will need to contact either Dragons Office and pay in full before the cut off date of Friday, July 31st to secure your seat. You will not be able to purchase these $15 tickets in our supporter bay on the day so please contact us on either (02) 9587 1966 or (02) 4225 8299. Tickets will need to be collected from the nominated Football Office from Thursday August 6, 2009 during office hours.

Im sure Stelz and Pete are only just waiting on a call back from the club to let us know if they can accomodate our big group into the red vee discount. I mean its tops we can get in for 15 bucks, doesnt mean im gonna sit in the so called 'supporters bay', unless of course, its our usual spot down the southern end. They cant really control where you sit once your inside the GA area.

1 - GA area is up the ends of each stands not the inner bowl.

2 - I'm a Red Vee member, with at least 20 others here, who is dramatically closer to Canberra than either football office - what's the reality it's easier for me to get to the office to pick up the tickets.

Thank God I'm arranging Corporate tix for the game from the Raiders.

BTW Dummied up this pic - Bays 1 2 3 and 18 19 20 are Gen Admin. DA usually goes for Bay 76 which is inner bowl prices

Snowman, good points, thanks for that.

Can you tell us is there anything physically stopping someone with a general admin ticket walking down and standing in bays 76 and 77? At most grounds it isnt really an issue.

I've done that in the past - getting other seating tix and doing our usual treat the bay as Gen Admin - I've only known of two times over more than a decade of the actual people at the ground checking someone's ticket before they went over and had some mild arguments.

As long as everyone treats it like a general admin area there shouldn't be any dramas.

Also Banner size, memory there is a sign at the entrance that bans big banners, hasn't been too much drama past few occassions.
