If the Dragons happen to...

The same can be said for each of the following teams who have contested the finals in the past 6 years but failed to win the premiership -
Roosters, Sharks, Warriors, Canberra, Newcastle, Parramatta, Cowboys, Souths. Your comments show either ignorance or a moronic rationale.

hahahaha truth hurts huh?

It's soon that time of year the St Choke Illachokea Chokeans do their famous gag.

You can rattle off other team names and try to hide from it but it's the Dragons who haven't lived up to their potential "on paper" as they like to put it.

You do the Oki Chokey and you turn around and that's what it's all about.

Whether we win the grand final or not this year, all I know is... We won't go down without a fight, we are ridiculously consistent this year, we still haven't lost a game by more than 6 points. We haven't played like this in the joint ventures history, and I'd go so far as to say we haven't played this well as a "team" for a few decades before it either.

You're stating the bleeding obvious, everyone knows we've had brilliant teams on paper (although I don't think the 2005 side was as good as everyone talks about) but everyone knows we've had a soft underbelly for decades. This year it's completely different, whether that will get us across the line or not remains to be seen, but win lose or draw, one thing is for sure, we'll fight to the end.

Bennett wants us to play week 1 at WIN Wollongong.

Should we win and play an out of Sydney team week 3,it'll be SFS.
Should we win and play a Sydney team week 3,it'll be ANZ.

The semi finals is not the time to be thinking about maximising revenue.. There are bigger fish to fry and the match should definitely not be moved from either WIN stadiums.

The team has earnt a home ground advantage and the 8th team should feel 'that' when they run on.

lol what a douche, Oki doesn't have any affiliation with the Dragons anymore.
The choking days are over, Bennett does not breed chokers.

Saints should play our finals week 1 fixture at either Kogarah or Wollongong. We've earned that advantage. We generally play sh*t at Homebush (except for last year).

I'm still a bit miffed with the "home city" rubbish for Finals Week 3. Should just be at SFS (NSW/ACT teams), Etihad (Storm) and Suncorp (NQ, Bris and GC). As it stands DFS, EAS etc can all host week three semi's...

A Dragons v Souths final would be epic. I don't care where it is, if it happens, I'm there.

They deserve to have it at one of their home fields.
They will go the Gong as it is too easy for other supporters to get to Kogarah.
They will want ( as they should ) total home ground advantage.

...If they do somehow not make or lose the GF this year it will have to be the biggest choke by any team that I can recall.
Parra choked pretty damn hard against the Knights but the Knights had a team of stars.
This year it is the Dragons by a million miles.
Dogs are a myth...the rest are too hit and miss.

Happier to come 3rd or 4th than 14th or 15th...

stupid thread, they earned a home semi, they can play it wherever they want.

if the tigers sneak into 8th and play the dragons i would be quietly confident of beating them.

Geez the word choke gets thrown about too much.

A choke is if you lose something unlosable. Are you seriously saying no other team could beat the Dragons? Last time I checked we've lost 4 this year.
