Wow. I'd say Palestine is a play on the fact his name is Israel, which is part of the old British mandate of Palestine, and he is a mormon.

I don't see what's racist about it. Offensive, yes, but unless Israel is a traditional Tongan name or Mormonism is their traditional language, I don't get it.

God, I hate Cameron Smith (I was booing him at about minute 65 of the GF when his depressed mug came on the screen), but he's bloody good.

Cronk's done a good job, but I think he's being shown up as a not particularly talented half who has been engineered to suit Melbourne's game plan extremely well.

Spot on. Cameron Smith is solid - ok when his team is winning, nothing flash but nothing that makes him stand out. Definitely not a game breaker or matchwinner and can't take a game by the scruff of the neck. Farah (and yes i know it was lol @ soufs) set up 8 tries in 1 game (directly or indirectly. I've never seen Smith dominate like that

Personally I hate both f**kwits but Cronk moreso due to the fact that his celebrations, antics on the field do not equate to his ability as a league player. I particularly cannot stand his sledging of players like Soward. Every chance he gets he goes in to try and rub it in if the Storm score.

Personal bias aside, Cronk is limited as a footballer and I am getting great satisfaction watching that exposed. He cannot pass for absolute sh*t and I could find props that could pass more accurately. I agree with the comment about Cronk as a one trick pony using Folau for a couple of seasons. Without him, he is nothing.

It's really more a reflection of where the Storm are now as a team. The team is solid at best. The robotic machine will canter on but they just don't have the flare in their backs to create anything, especially without GI. It's all up to Slater and he is struggling as well. So what's left? It's left up to half to create something and Cronk with his limited skills does not have the ability to do so.

That hits the nail on the head, Danny Buderus and Steve Walters weren't flashy and they are probably the two best in recent times. Cameron Smith is the most important player, look how they went last year without him.

Robbie Farah isn't even on the same playing field currently although he is a very good no.9. Lets see Robbie take his team to the semis, lead his team through it to the GF and put in a solid display. Then lets see him cement his NSW jersey and do the same, then even challenge Smith for the Kangaroos spot. Until then Cam will win out.

Calm down.. Who said robotic was necessarily bad. The problem for the Storm now is that they don't have anyone that can create to compliment the structure. The Saints have Soward, Morris, Boyd who have a bit of flare to go with the structure. Robotic on your own will only get you so far..

Couldn't have put it better myself. This is a bloke who has captained State, Country and Club as well as leading them to 3 straight minor premierships and 3 straight grand finals. And then people call him average, some people just have no idea.
