LU gives a 3-2-1 for ever game they cover.

Do they get collated?

What the score if they do?

Scored the same as Dally Ms, unlike RLW player of the year.

Hayne's winning. It's on the main page in articles some where mate.. I think it's on the Tuesday wrap-up?

Pretty close to how I'd have them.. but once again, there's only so much you can do 3, 2, 1. Rating every player takes longer but it's always going to be more accurate.

Rating every player is good in theory and works fairly good in RLW. But in reality imo the more players that get rated, the more margin for error. I feel the Dally M system is the fairest it just needs to not be swayed so much by the popularity stakes.

Why should Thurston be rewarded for his poor play in the 2nd half of the year dipstick? Found that brain cell yet?

The Dally M seems like a novelty. There has been a fair level of scepticism about the merit of the award. I'm not entirely convinced Orford should have won it last season.

Isn't it amazing that Thurston could soon be 3 x Dally M Player of the year yet Fittler and Lockyer have never won it even once.

Thats why its amazing. Both Fittler and Lockyer are among the games greats, yet combined neither player has won the Dally M Medal. That in itself says enough about the medal imo.
