Other than the bench, doesn't look all that different to the 2009 side and they certainly finished with a flourish.

Elford and Puletua havn't re-signed.

If Puletua were to re-sign he'd activate big contract bonuses and we wouldn't be able to afford him.

So likely both wont be here.

Which means even less depth... LOL

could be even less depth .I hear the majority of the windsor side will not be there next year.A few of the current u20 will go there but its not looking all that flash over there next year as well.
i would name a side but really its close to a copy and paste job from this year bar romelo same old same old

We have 22 contracted players need 8 more so with a bit of luck we are talking to players that need to get a release.

We need a strike centre I know we have Jenko. Someone like Luke MacDougall would be cheap can create something if Jennings is heavily marked.

We need an offloading prop. We have Lewis, Waterhouse, Petero all workhorses we need a impact forward. If you have a pack of Petero's or Waterhouse's you would lose it's a sameness. Which is why I was happy with the Woolnough signing if only he didn't have so many injuries

Elford and Blair have now both re-signed for 2010. Hopefully Blair continues to improve as he did at the end of the season, but signing Elford is hardly good news considering he's just going to retire the following season and his contract would have most likely been enough to keep JTK or Daniela.

But the bright side is that he's another player to keep David Simmons out of first grade.

Take out Waterhouse and 1-11 and 13-17 all had shockers against Newcastle its hardly a statement of a players ability.

I'm praying that Blair has a fantastic off season because a fit and firing Blair is a very good option at centre.

If we can retain Puletua, then we have Puletua, Grant and Arona waiting in the wings for the front row, plenty of talent in the second row. I think we need a winger still at the very least.
But if we have a good run with injuries which we're due for I'd be upbeat ahead of next season (oh wait...Elliott was re-signed...)

Depth is alot stronger with more options waiting better balanced plenty of impact with Laurie and Pritchard off the bench Plum is Good because he is a different style so good as a option.

Still plenty of workhorse now impact players coming looks better
