Doueihi would be a very good pick up and I feel Uele from the sharks would also be handy. The Warriors were chasing Uele last year but he decided to stay at the Sharks. How good would it be if we could get those two and finished of with a big fast outside back.

Kerr will be a great addition (really happy)... but yes it would be ace to get that Alpha Prop we've been after.. someone who can do 40+ minutes if were replacing Jack/Klem.. RCG would have been that guy.. Nelson im not sure if he can still do that role but a maybe.. Uele seems to have dropped off a cliff in terms of his impact/stats, I dont watch him that closely though.. but he could be another. Mooney would be a different kind of buy but I love the idea of someone coming into his prime..

There are others but I dunno whats realistic.. we would have to find someone who a club is willing to let go... or we might need to keep Klemmer another year.. we can only speculate..

Would be nice if in letting Jack go we did have a proper gun replacement in mind.. but maybe it was a leap of faith or maybe it was just a mistake.. time will tell I guess.

We're not going to get a top line alpha prop for the 2026 season, it's too late. It's all about the November contact point, and going very very hard for the few top line props that will be off contract for the 2027 season.

We need to try to finish the season as strongly as possible so we don't look like a complete backet case during those November contacts. That means playing the strongest team available in every game irrespective of who thinks certain kids should be starting to help their long term development.

On another note I believe Stewart is only signed for 2026. Out of all the kids we've debuted this year, he is probably the most promising. He needs an extension soon or he will be able to talk to other clubs in November.

I think he has proven to be the most valuable of the young crop.

Great effort player, nice skills, great defense, big motor and seems prepared to bleed for the jumper.

For mine he is the heir apparent to JDB.

I would be more disappointed to lose him than Latu as he has already proved his worth.

I love him!

Old news poss , no point bringing up the decisions of the past buddy , let’s look towards the future as that is all we have at the moment .

I’m hoping you’re right Gareth.

Haran is low calibre and it says everything about the people who put him there and have made sure he stays.

I’m still so pissed off about it. And dont get me started on the St. George side.

We’re a good team in the wet and have a good, fighting attitude. Last year we’re winning or losing by 30. We get lapped by young fast teams on quick decks and we lack the class to close out. Letting Finau and Tamale go back to back annoys the piss out if me. Tamale is a big plus to the Raiders when he comes back and Finau has similar qualities. Yet Sloan keeps getting starts.

There’s green shoots maybe, but there’s still so much to scratch the melon about. We’re too slow across the park. We’re a throwback team who are honest toilers and mud runners.

I like some of it. Others just feels more same same.

They have to get it right.

Was thinking he reminded me of Neville Costigan vs Raiders, hitting those big Raiders props very hard and low, they were definitely rattled. He'd be a cheapie as well just depends on space in terms of numbers.

Yeah I think there might be some kind of option for 2027 but think it's mutual (and can't find much detail on it) so it makes sense to give him 3 years now on reasonable coin as he's earned it.

Next year will be a lot more contracts handed out for the rest of the juniors if they do well which we need to be mindful of when splashing out money on guys like Kerr etc.

Most underrated player Neville Costigan , but he tackled like a demon and opposition players would shi away from him when they saw him coming at them . One of the Dragons best during the Bennett era .
