See no reason why Storm can't back up again.

- They've adjusted to the faster game and two refs
- Finch and Coop have formed a great halves combination
- They've got young blood coming through from the talented U20s team
- Signed some new talent to replace Chambers and Zappa
- Their team is still young, and are now even more experienced
- They have a new stadium - hence motivation to establish a new 'graveyard'
- Anthony Quin and arguably their best forward - Sika Manu returns

I could go on....

But in all seriousness - I can't see the Storm going backward next year and barring injury to key players they'll make it 5 GFs in a row - and a their 3rd title in 5 years to firmly establish a new era in Rugby League and forever be immortalised in RL folklore...

well if Inglis is found guilty he could be deregistered going off some past cases

that would change things for them

Some nice value there.

Brisbane, Canberra, Roosters, Newcastle...none of whom i would count out if they got their act together like parra did this year.

Dogs and Saints are far too long IMO. They'll have learnt lessons this year.

Might put a bet on already :D

I thought that too, but it remains to be seen how well they come back from late season failures. Often sides that do what the Dogs and Saints did this year go backwards, especially if what they did was on the back of the new coach glow. Still good value with both, especially if they recruit well.

Those odds are interesting. Particularly with how short the outsiders are (Roosters, Warriors, Sharks). You could put them at $500,000 to 1 and I wouldn't put anyone elses money on them. I do like the prospect of being least favoured in the respect that the last time it happened was 2001 and we rolled into the semis. I'd take that finish next year, but am not all that confident of it.

Good to see the raiders are back to their rightful place as equal last by the bookies. We got given decent odds last year and look how our season ended?
The more predictions for spoonage the better we go it seems

Your an idiot if your not happy and you's think you's are a chance! Chuck on a $200 and thats a pretty sick bet if u's make the GF.

I'm only not happy because I was hoping for longer odds, but everyone seems to be copping the tip that Souths are in for a massive year next year.

Didn't you get picked for the spoon in 08 as well and finished finalists? I'd hardly call 2009 an improvement, and you weren't exactly far off.

Big call about a team that beat all of the Top 6 teams this year.

Newcastle is a good bet for Top 4.

Lol at the Roosters being shorter odds than a bunch of teams already. They will be lucky to make the 8 imo.

Storm only lose Chambers and Turner are get Manu and Quinn back along with Chase Stanley and Todd Lowrie and their stars from the U20's...look out for Gareth Whiddop and Matt Duffie to get their chances next year.

Storm can go back to back if they stay injury free...

You can stop whinging when you win a GF. I don't mind the Raiders team but they have to learn how to win away from home to be taken seriously by anyone as premiership threat.

 dude i wasnt whinging
since the age of 18 i havnt ever complained about Betting prices. If i think they are that far off, ill slap a bet down and make some money, which i often do

I was merely making the point that it seems when betting agency's rate us as wooden spooners, we go alright, when they back us abit, we go like bust arses

Tigers are the best bet I think they will finish 5th next year and as we know anything can happen once you are in the 8. Tipping the top 5 teams to all be Sydney teams in 2010.

Raiders always seem to favs for the spoon- no way you will go close. Top 8 may be a stretch, but you'll finish closer to the 8 than the spoon IMO
