Worst Souths Team last 20 odd years?

Ok, ok, I know its another off season thread borrowed from another forum but at least it'll get you thinking and get us all talking. This forums had tumbleweeds rolling through it for the last few days.

Anyway, below is a the team list so far 1 - 17, I'll add to it as people keep suggesting names:

who do you reckon are the worst players to fill these positions at our great club in the last 20 odd years?

I've started it off with a couple that I reckon are the worst in position I've seen. Dave and AM, before you both go off the deep end, Hegarty is non negotiable. He is the worst centre I've ever seen. Wasn't as bad a winger but just ignore Hegs and play the rest of the game. I don't want this thread degenerating into a "Hegs is the greatest" argument.

Lets have some suggestions, throw some names around and hopefully by the end of it all, we'll have a worst team. To make it, a player needs to have at least 3 people agree that he is the worst.

Lee Hookey was pretty ordinary as well. I'm going to throw his name into the mix.

Theree are plenty of players who were good at other clubs but woeful at Souths. Hegarty and Crossman for example (the latter I was not even aware had played for Souths). To those I would add Chris Walker. Frank Puletua and Joe Galuvao were two more who gave sterling service at Penrith, but did nothing for Souths.

I agree with Galuvao, Brad Watts and Willie Peters. I reckon we have a halves combo right there.

Chris Walker is a good footballer, he would have went alright for Souths but he just sh*t all over us so he doesn't really count. The other Dave Taylor didn't really play enough to warrant a mention.

I'm talking about players who played quite a few first grade games with us, but wouldn't have got a run elsewhere.

Hookey is a good example. Lasted all of about two minutes when he eventually went elsewhere. Hegarty is another good one.

I will admit that he was a reasonable player at the Roosters. Probably the best of that bunch as well so far. I'll make him captain, how does that sound?

Excuse me my good friend and fellow Souths fan, may you please remove Shannon Hegarty from this team as I do feel that he is too good to even be mentioned with these horrible useless hacks. I must say that you are doing a wonderful job in your new role and long may it continue

There is no possible way Hegs should be in that side.

Hes a lot closer to being in the best side than the worst.
