Hey guys

The Roosters Round 16 game vs the Warriors has been moved to Christchurch from the SFS

This was one of the home games scheduled in the 5 games membership package.

As such, this home game has now been replaced by the Round 13 game against the Sharks

Roosters emailed me, with the info today after I asked if they were going to stump up for my flight and accomodation :p

Hahah welcome to the world of Noyce.
Wait and behold for home games to be whored to Albania, Port Moresby, Hong Kong, Parkes and Darwin so long as they stump up 5 cents.
Thank f**k you took the chook raffle running, harness racing organising, contract backloading mongoloid off our hands and prepare for your side to top the NRL Good Guys table as you visit hospitals, rehab clinics, the homeless, the unemployed, train wreck survivors and sheltered workshops

The Dogs do this, ie play home games in NZ and the Roosters often play home games at Bluetongue

Raising additional revenue is important and we have been doing it long before Noyce came along.

The venue change didnt bother me - it was more a heads up as a game on a set membership has been changed

That takes it to three the number of relocated matches away from the SFS, leaving just 9 there.

R10 v Knights @ Gosford
R16 v Warriors @ Christchurch
R22 v Saints @ SCG

Thats pathetic

What happens to full season ticket holders who have now renewed for full price, now they want to take another home game away

They will probably offer a ticket to NZ Game, f**kk That..who is gonna use that ticket

Considering the Membership Brochure says 10 games at SFS/SCG, how are they going to redeem members for this

Its really only 8 Home Game this year, considering the SCG game aswell, while i dont have a big issue with SCG, the NZ game sh*ts me

No, there are 9 at the SFS and 1 at the SCG. You got exactly what was advertised.

Yeah I just emailed them, this was their reply

Hi Mitchell,

Further to your recent email, firstly thank you for your membership purchase for the 2010 season.

As advised in the brochure and on the Roosters website when launching the 2010 membership program, Tri Colour and Chookpen membership packages are valid for 10 home games. This includes nine games at the SFS and the blockbuster Hall of Fame game in Round 22 at the SCG.

From day one, we were moving two games away from Sydney (as per last season), however instead of two games at Blue Tongue Stadium, this season we will play one at Blue Tongue Stadium and one in Christchurch.

I hope this clarifies the issue for you, and rest assured that we would not move another game once membership packages have been launched.

Please feel free to email again should you have any other enquiries.

Kind regards,

Yeah - agree with the club. You cant say that the SCG is a change of venue as such. Both grounds share an entrance and are on the same site.

If you were a slug and it were a 30 degree day, I could see the difficulty in getting from one place to another - but the last time I checked, most of the slugs at the Roosters were on the pitch, not in the stands :p

10 games is fine as advertised.
