Kemp was offered 200K to transfer to the Warriors after only a handful of first grade games. He took the money and had an all expense paid Kiwi holiday.

Yeah, that's how I remembered it. I thought I was on the money. Thanks for confirmation.

Kemp isn't even starting in first round 17 if I am coach. Again, I'd make him work for his spot. I had NO PROBLEM with our wingers last season, Kemp goes to the back of the que. FFS beads6, you're carrying on like Kemp is a MASSIVE signing. The guy is a good player, nothing more. He ain't a world beater. There is massive potential there no doubt, but that can be said about ALL in front of him at this time.

He is not a massive signing, he is the best signing of all time!!! Watch him go he will tear it up in 2010...

 Ok, ok ... well if he is, it's all good news as we are all on the same team here ;-) I am sure Kemp appreciates having such a parochial supporter!

Kemp hardly looks like he should be in the fat club. Michaels on the other hand.

My thoughts exactly.

Who is that running next to Parker? I think It's Hala. If so then he is a bloody beast! He makes Parker look like a midget.

Yeah its Hala. Parker has come far from his prop days but those islander boys come big.

Hala is a beast, former Australian Schoolboy he will be entrenched in the 17 by mid year.

It's strange, the website says its Lagi Setu, but I don't remember Setu being that big! It must be Hala. What a tank!!!

If Kemp is in fat club I'm not sure where that leaves the rest of us...

New Zealand Warrior press conference at 12 noon Kiwi time. Steve Price anyone? Stripped of the captaincy, not happy, and wanting to come home to family and lead our young pack of forwards to grand final glory in 2010 (OK I'm getting a little ahead of myself there).

But the possibility is strong.

Why would the Warriors have a press conference to tell everyone that Price is going to Brisbane?

And on the pictures, even with all the sun protection, Wallaces face is pretty red, lol.

Well, Price has confirmed he's definately not coming abroad.

Good I say, I'd rather see Price do good by the Warriors than decimate their chances before a ball is even kicked.

Brisbane Broncos hand coach Ivan Henjak a two-year contract extension

Brisbane Broncos handed Ivan Henjak a two-year contract extension, keeping him in the top coaching post until at least 2012.

The significant contract upgrade, determined during a Broncos board meeting at Red Hill on Tuesday, is a big endorsement of Henjak's impressive first season at the helm of the glamour club.

Henjak, who took the reins from 21-year foundation coach Wayne Bennett last season on an initial two-year deal, has immediately accepted the two-year extension.

A rookie NRL coach last season, Henjak guided Brisbane to a roller-coaster preliminary final finish in the six-time premiers' first season without Bennett.

The rookie head coach's poise in steadying a sinking Broncos to salvage the club's 18th straight finals berth - with a young playing squad at his command - impressed.

"The board were very pleased with Ivan's first season as head coach with a somewhat inexperienced staff and a young squad," Cullen said.

It means Henjak will oversee the post-Darren Lockyer era with the club's champion skipper due for retirement after the 2011 NRL season.

"A lot of our young players are signed until 2012 and it gives Ivan a chance to work with them throughout that period," Cullen said.

Bit early I would have waited till mid next year.

Have there been a bunch of re-signing we don't know of??
