Smith apparently hurt his ankle in the Raiders trial. Not really a huge problem, but will hurt our depth.

I was at the game and he looked to be in a fair bit of pain... I agree its not a big loss but we really need all hands on deck. What happens if Wallace gets injured.

He's been cleared of any damage and is being touted for a bench spot in the season opener.

Peter Wallace remains the games most overrated player in my opinion.

Did nothing with the Panthers, had a great first season with the Broncos on the back of a good side, but surely this season will be the making of Peter Wallace. The Bronco's have issues yet to be resolved and I am not convinced Peter is the sort of quality to cover your losses and shortfalls.

Wallace is currently better than Tim Smith and Ben Hunt, our only other options...

Most clubs would kill to have the halves depth we have. With Smith and Hunt there Wallace has to on top of his game or he could easily find himself in QCUP.
