This team is an absolute joke! Ricky, you are hopeless, you have our best hooker on the bench, you have better players playing in under 20's and we still suck!. But oh yeah, same as last year, the boys trained well?

Solution:

1. Aiton starts
2. Gardner to replace hopeless Stapleton
3. Anyone to replace Covell
4. Tautai to replace Pomeroy
5. Kelly to half, sorry Ports, you are hopeless, see ya later.

I cannot believe how geniused Covell and Pomeroy are. That have had enough chances but as per usual Ricky will leave till it too late and the season is gone.

And while I am at it, Barret should have retired last year and Kelly needs time in reserves as he has no x factor that we have heard so much about.

The thing is, Barret will be there all year, Ricky wouldnt drop the captain and most capped player. I have just purchased my son his first Titans jersey online after that game tonight. I cannot and will not bring him up to support this sh*t, and this will probably be my last year.

enjoy the titans! c ya

That's f**king soft. You support your team through thick and thin.

And you've been supporting them for?.....

I can tell you that being in my late forties and following the team since I was old enough to sit up the back of the old mechano stand it does get very frustrating and it seems quite hopeless at the moment.

What were you smoking while you were watching the game? Ports played well. Besides one missed tackle he was one of our best players tonight. Great kicking game and he looked to attack the line tonight which something he hasn't done in the past. Threw that ball to pom to setup the try.
Kelly was getting man handled by the warriors and that's going to happen to the younger smaller guys. He is no where near ready to start and i think a couple of weeks in U/20s will do him well.
We need another forward on the bench to help out snowy and dougy.

They are overworked big time and recruitment should pounce on someone asap - just not a knee jerk donnelly reaction

They are being overworked SB because we are currently rotating fullbacks. its a waste of 2 rotations in the forwards. But we are doing this to bring Stapo & Kelly up to speed.

Porter missed 6 tackles and was spotted all night by the warriors. His kicking game was much improved on last week. He doesn't threaten the line at all because he doesn't have pace or evasion. The cutout was good but his passing is still too slow. He is a solid player, doing his best in a crap team.

Is Kelly the answer? At this stage no. Especially at half. He can't organise the team and doesn't have the kicking game. He is a runner who needs some space, hence fullback and five-eigth are his preferred positions. The step up from Toyota Cup to NRL is massive and the bench role is probably the best way to bring him into the side.
