The GST sign is institution, as is the supporter who owns the sign. He hasn't missed a game for decades.

A supporter like this is allowed to hold up any sign he likes. Anyone who says otherwise should just avert their eyes, and take a long hard look at themselves.

Some people just can't understand it, but still think they can dictate to others. IMO, it says more about the critics than anything else. Go figure.
