thats for next year, petero isnt performing as the premier level prop he used to be, luke o donnell is a great tackler, exactly what the broncos need, hes a bit of a grub sometimes, but we need that mongrel in our squad, we will liven up the second row a bit

mate, theres nothing wrong with picking a squad this early, just putting in my two bobbs worth in. luke o donnell has been great at the start of the season, i would rather scott bolton but he is signed on until 2012. all those players that we might be getting are great, but think about the youth, ive opted for only too changes, they only putting there replacements on the bench, being o donnell for Parker and Tolman for kenny. This would be a very strong squad in my opinion

I know he will go alright with the Broncos but I am worried that performance is because of age.

I know the sentiment in having Civo back for a Broncos swang song is hard to refuse but..... brace yourself cause i am going to say it.....

Is he on a decline and is it worth the $ to have him for what is being talked up as a 2yr contract?

Look at Price injury after injury, Petro's knees will be getting there by the end of this season let alone the beginning of the next 2. It's inevitable for him to go downhill at some point in the next 2/12 years do we want him in that time?

I would sign him up for a 1yr and lock him away as our forwards coach the following year on a good wicket.

applesauce, you make a very strong point, ive seen hunt at training and he is terrible, he does not compare to lockyer whatsoever, sims has beeen crap since he came to the broncos, he was strong at the end of last year but has beeen crap this year, denan kemp is strong when he is on his game, so far this year he has been far from impressive

In Kemps defence he only played until round 3. Hardly enough time to prove himself but you should be glad we had him. Look what has happened to Yow Yeh, and Winterstien last week we would of been down to another rookie for the first 3 rounds.

Hunt is worth the time, let him grow/develop, and we just re-signed him he isn't going anywhere.

fair enough ben hunt plays on, kemps a dynamic attacker, i like him but im just thinking of our best possible side, and i dont see him in my plans with winterstein and yow yeh better players then kemp

Who would your back up half be? And are you fine with us having no replacement for Locky the year after? What is your plan there?

Get rid of our 3 best back up backs? Who would come in if we got any injuries? Plus that now means we have no fullbacks except for Norman.
