TIGHE and BLAIR in strife with Police

Brad Tighe and Maurice Blair were issued with penalty notices by police overnight for failing to leave a Penrith Hotel when asked.

I'm actually quite surprised by this as I see both these blokes in various TABs around Penrith on a regular basis and are always very well behaved and haven't seen either of them on the grog.

Maybe they both had a bad day on the punt and had a good case of the sh1ts?

I was actually at that pub for a mothers day feed and what surprises me was the other 10 odds players that were there these 2 are the oldest that were there yet the young one were well behaved.

Agreed maybe all players should do the courses the NYC does as the other younger players also at the Peachtree last night al would of done it or a similar course and were well behaved

Hadley was reporting this morning that they abused a female manager by calling her a white so & so when she came over to calm things down & when they were finaly ejected they tried to sneak back in another door, that's when police were called & they abused them too

Well If the club is serious about player behaviour then they should. Lying to the club despite that terible actions. They called the manager a white f**ken s**t. What if they were called a black so and so.

Being investigated by the NRL so the truth will come out. But could be why they weren't named in Windsor team

Well yeah do sign anyone else with the money be way under this year with Sammut, Blair, Tighe gone we are playing way under the cap we can use that $ next season to front load some contracts for other players.

I dare say both would of struggled for a gig next season Earl and Walker are knocking for a spot in the team

Andrew our media man, as well as a few other got very touchy about this today over on the PI forums over basically nothing. Leads me to think there is more too it. If they called anyone a white sl*t they should be dealt with harshly.

Maybe the club doesn't know the full story. It happened about 1030 on a Sunday night by the time they went to the cop shop is after 12 midnight ant witnesses would be long gone.

When I left at 9 the other players were long gone so they couldn't ask them. I would think that Hadley would check it up almost to the point he is certain it happened before broadcasting it so he isn't sued

I hope they have. Don't get me wrong but if they haven't spoke to witnesses or something and rushed a decision then it's pretty sloppy.

That's why the NRL have their own investigators now they may demand them to be sacked.

Not alone. it's not but Lying to the club is also if they refused to leave twice as is being said that's worse then just refusing the 1st time. My main gripe is the White so and so remark. What if it was the other way around and they go called black so and so's?? To me both are just as bad and isn't the sort of person I want associated with the Panthers

has just been cleared up both players are still with the club.But are injured but still required to attend windsor training and duties with windsor .That is why they are not listed as playing

One thing is for sure, they're not doing themselves any favours in being re-signed beyond this year, since I'm pretty sure they'll both be off-contract.

No excuses. Unacceptable behaviour.

Blair not doing himself any favours as he supposedly tries to reclaim a spot in the top grade.

Tighe has reclaimed his position in the top side and has done well up until this incident which blots his copybook.

Im very disappointed about this incident. I think both fellas are very talented footballers and certainly up to FG standard. They are normally well behaved in public, but obviously had too much to drink and too much to say to the wrong people. Hopefully they cop a good stiff penalty at Court.
