Risky Stuart as head coach??

What do you guys think about Ricky Stuart as our coach? i mean he won a premiership with the roosters, had a few sh*tty years with a horrible Cronulla team.. maybe he'd be a great person to come back to our club? surely he could do better than Furner!... any takers?

And speaking of cheese... that is what could have been the coach at the Roosters that year and they STILL would have won... No one could lose with that team playing the way they were!

Why the f**k would we want a coach who successfully LOST the World Cup to the Kiwi's and has taken a top 8 side Sharks to the Wooden Spooners?!?!?!

i once said R.Stuart would be considered the best coach of all time by the time he retired. I was WAY off

the sharks were genuine premiership contenders when he arrived, he punted Kimmorley and lost De Gois, they are now absolute rubbish.

He still has some good mates at Queanbeyan Leagues Club. I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to get him back as coach. I rate him as one of the worst coaches in the NRL. I’d love to see Bellyache or Michael Mcguire become the next head coach,

Well that is a lie.

We had our worst ever losing streak (which stick has now broken.. twice) when we punted Raper and signed up Stuart. He also brought De Gois to the club and Newcastle offered him 4 times the amount he was on with us, which was the minimum.

If Bird and Seymour didn't f**k up who knows what a core of Bird, Barrett, Gallen, Tupou and Seymour could have done. I don't blame Sticky for that one at all.

Hes probably better than Furner but hes really inconsistent. One year he looks like a world beater then next his side his winning the spoon.

I must say, Stuart WON a premiership.. u dont do that just with a solid team.. u need a coach who has some idea what he is doing.... add that to getting the Sharks to 3rd place in 2008..yeah they played sh*t last year.. but i really dont knwo if you can blame Stuart. Also he became the Australian Test coach... i really doubt David Furner shall share that achievment some day.

Anyway.. im not saying Stuart is the greatest coach.. however id be mighty happy to see him replace Furner, i really think any coach with some experience could do a better job.. why on earth would you stick a coach with NOOOO experience with a team of youngens... where the hell is the logic!!!

Personally id love nothing more than to see Laurie Daley coach the Raiders, his a smart man... and he has respect in the rugby league world..anyway.. lets see wot goes down Carn the Raiders..

The raiders have a top quality team but they don't have a top quality coach to guide them and on nrl.com if footy was played with 40 minutes raiders woulds be 5th its just converting that into 80 is the problem.

I'd take stuart in a heartbeat over furner. There's actually not many coaches I would turn down in favour of furner.

Um... huh? You say in one paragraph you don't want to stick a coach with no experience with a team of youngen's in charge (although Furner was coaching lower grades before taking over) yet you want to put Daley who has LESS experience than Furner in his place???
