Stupidity of the judiciary. A guy can go out and throw elbows all he wants, but as long as he doesn't connect (no matter how hard he tries to) he won't get charged?
I think he did connect with the back of haynes neck.Stupidity of the judiciary. A guy can go out and throw elbows all he wants, but as long as he doesn't connect (no matter how hard he tries to) he won't get charged?

meh - what can you do? - the judiciary always come out with some rubbish like this .... their justification will be that billy was sin-binned hence it was already dealt with
Well they just handed QLD there fifth series win
FoxSports is reporting that both Hayne and Lewis have been charged (no word on what with).
Slater, the dirty little grub, has avoided charge.
I thought charges weren't finalised until the finish of the round?
Wasn't it Alex Chan who got binned for a head high (not binnable, has to be send off or nothing) and the ref claimed repeated offences... and it was Chan's first of the gameWhich is ridiculous in itself. How can a player get sin-binned for elbowing? It is either a send-off or put on report.
I can only assume he was binned for fighting - rather than the elbow.
Alright kiddies, you can go out now and try and kick the opposition in the head as hard as you want, throw a couple of elbows and knees to the groin if you wish. You'll only get in trouble if you connect though.
Surely the intend behind Slaters elbow is worse than Haynes nudge. Had Slater connected what would the penalty be?
