I dont care what anyone comes out and say from the past etc etc, that kinda stuff always pops out when theirs been a big controversey. Bottom line for me is he let his team-mates down.. you say he's previously tried to sort it "face-to-face" will if he had sorted this out i can guarantee you this whole incident would not have happened.

All Tahu needed to was grab Johns by the collar and say to him "say that one more time or i'll knock you out" problem solved end of story...

You STILL don't see it.

Why is the onus on Tahu? Why didn't any of HIS team mates stick up and say 'Hey Joey, that's wrong mate. Take it back!' Why is it HE who is in the wrong when it was JOHNS who said it, and is in a position of authority?

You goose, it's not the person subject to racism that is wrong, IT'S THE IDIOT WHO SAYS IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!! He wasn't the one who let down his team. His team mates and his coach let HIM down.

My goodness, the light won't switch on will it.

Your all really not understanding how i'm looking at the situation, that's a given its never the victims fault. I'm blaming Tahu after acknlowedging fact he was un-willingly put in that position and the outcome he decided to take!!!

I know Johns is wrong, I know this! but you want to make a siutuation go from bad to worse?

Mate, that's a stupid thing to say!! You're telling me that you're blaming Tahu for reacting to it in this way?!

Have you ever heard the saying 'Enough is enough'? This was enough for Tahu to go 'f**k it, I'm out of here. Can't stand this racist prick!' And you blame him for doing that?

He released the statement for two reasons; 1) To ensure people didn't think he was a sook and had valid reason to leave and 2) to ensure something was done!

The way you're looking at the situation is to say 'Yeah, Johns was wrong but for the benefit of the team and Origin Tahu should stick it out.' That's unacceptable. It should never have happened in the first place and now that Tahu has done something about it, I would argue it won't happen again in his entire career.

I'd love the opportunity to have this debate over the phone or in person, much more free flowing not this typing sh*t

Your bottom line changes depending on which direction the debate takes.

In your opening few posts, it was all about how Tahu should have sorted it out face-to-face... on the quiet.

Your words: "If he was a man he would have gone up to Johns and sorted it out privately as opposed to making it public..."

Now that it has been revealed that he has been trying to do that for years, you say "I don't care about that."

Face it, you don't like people standing up against racism. That's the real bottom line.

 FMD. Can you not read?

FTR, I only suspected that it had been going on for years. Robbie O'Davis is the one confirming my suspicions.

My guess is that you consider Johns to be hard done by. How close am I?

How do know you hasn't tried this too?

Of course, if Tahu did give Johns a belting years ago, his career would have been stuffed before it got started. Then you would have been rallying behind those calling Tahu a violent nutjob. The same mob that think he is insane for even getting offended in the first place.

It is clear that you question whether or not the reported comments should be classed as racist.

Either provide some actual evidence to support your claim or GTFO the internet.

Now.... what sources are you using to support your view that Tahu has quit for some other reason?

Quite obviously the only 'proof' any of us have is what was reported in the media, we know that, you know that, and since I dont work for the NSW origin Team, unless something else leaks out more details into the media, thats all the factual information we will ever get.

But this may come as a shock to both of you, but sometimes on a forum we dont always swallow what were given.. we will read between the lines, and come up with an opinion of our own.

I have no doubt that racism was involved, and that Johns is sincerely sorry for his involvement in this, but as I stated in my previous post, Tahus actions come across completely irrational, not like someone who had heard a racist remark for the 5450th time in his career, and made a decision that this is how he will 'make his stand'.

Tahu did not need to fall on his own sword to get his message into the media, the media would lap it up regardless... all he did by doing that was stuff his own career and throw the blues preperation into chaos. He was impulsive.

That to me makes no sense, and the only valid reason for leaving a camp (over racism alone), would be if he escalated it to Blues Management and they attempted to sweep it under the carpet, and in doing so forced his hand, and so far that has not been reported to be the case.

Whilst I respect your ability to have an opinion, it's racist and reeks of ignorance. You're wrong, and I have no intention of respecting the opinion of someone who is essentially stating that for the good of rugby league, black people need to shut up and cop it on the chin when white people make racist remarks.

It's wrong and I cannot sit by and let it go unchallenged.

I'd love the opportunity to have this debate over the phone or in person, much more free flowing not this typing sh*t

You can't articulate yourself with the written word; I hold little hope you could do so verbally and won't be wasting my time and money on a phone call or a physical sit down and chat.

The only person that has let the Blues down is Andrew f**ktard Johns. No-one else.
Of course.

I'm hoping NSW come back from this and post a win tonight.

But if they get belted, and the disharmony in the camp is one of the reasons, then Johns deserves whatever criticism comes his way. Hopefully, he already knows the damage he has done.

Nonsense, you've change your opinion when the debate doesn't go your way. You've contradicted yourself more than once.

Some people just can't admit it when they get it wrong.

LOL! Yeah, I want to hand out my work phone number to upset internet forummers.

Seriously, if you can't handle a bit of forum debate, turn off your computer.

You can always talk to me 'face-to-face'. Meet me at the club one day.
