Dream coaching team for 2012

I will second this and i'm not a raiders fan.

Gotta be better than Furner - I'm afraid for your guy's future with this guy in charge.
Ricky and Mal would be the best fit for this club, they can instill that late 80s early 90s passion within the green machine that they were a part of
No doubt your mob has the best juniors and always will have a big talent pool this is not your problem.
It its the upstairs that needs a good clean out and it starts with your coach (even tho he was the mad player, much respect) he's no coach and you all know this.

If Mal and Sticky dont fit with some raider fans, anyone have any suggestions who could be your coaches?

I don't think Mal is suited to the rigours of every day coaching. Having him at Origin level is probably just enough for him.

Ricky maybe but no to Mal. Maybe Niel Henry will be back on the market, he had us going in the right direction until he left.

Mal ran this club earlier in his career...without success!

What years? Where did the team finish whilst he was running the show? I must of forgotten.
I know Mal is not the brains behind QLD success but he does play an inspiring leader role and playersl love him.
Maybe a second chance is what he needs. When Neil Henry was in charge he had all the brains and tatics but lacked inspiration
Putting both Mal and Neil together is the key (with sticky there as well)
damn i can see the potential for your team to win a comp again.

I might say though that Henry isn't the assistance coach for QLD anymore...

Either way I'm still happy with our coach, he makes some wierd calls but so does every coach everywhere...

No one will ever be happy with their coach... Sheens makes some wierd calls but it's not like the Tiger's aren't killing it overall this season and they have won a premiership under him as well... And the Wests/Tigers fans HATE him...

Mal still has the 2nd best winning % at the club behind Sheens, although he was considered a failure here.

I think the problem was that once he took over it was basically our old 94 lineup..we never added anyone really. Once the team started to retire and etc we struggled to get guys and our junior depth changed somewhat.

Now this is just what I remember, at the time I was in High School so my memory is a bit hazy lol.

I'll take a whole new management first, someone who will let the moths out of the money safe and spend it on some quality player to get us back to the top.

I'll second that.

One big name player in a technical position - hooker or half - could completely change the complexion of our side.

Mal was a great player but not a great coach. The only reason hes doing well as QLD coach is because there geld well together and they some of the best players thats played in the NRL so noooo i would pass on that.
