Virgina Tech take Jets WR Santonio Holmes. We feel as a 4th wide out who we shouldn't need while he serves out his suspension. He's a #1 in a team that traded for him. They didn't trade for him knowing about the suspension if they didn't plan to use him. He's a match up starter and potential WR2 when on the field.

Ab, iv'e been thinking, 4 DL, 3 LB and 4 DB are a bit much, if we knocked it down to 3, 2, 3 then we could have better depth and take away 6 rounds from the 40 round draft, its not bothering me too much, but its just something we could look into if you want.

Yea i think re the time wise issue, we'll just see how we go over the coming weeks and then we can make a call based on the situation we're faced with
Im still hopeful we'll hit some purple patches and fly through and get it done

I think the bigger issue we need to discuss is the number of keepers, 9 is not much at all, not even a quarter of our roster, what yuo think about maybe expanding it to 15? I dunno though coz then there wouldn't be much quality in the offseason draft.

I wanted Holmes as my #4. But I think I'll wait till later and get some deep sleepers as my #4 and 5 WR's.

10 is a nice number.

That way we can keep a core squad, but then get rid of other pieces and make it an interesting draft every year.
