To show that he is like Jesus and all forgiving.

Cena would love to get over with the internet marks, teaming with Bryan would be a surefire to do it.

Think about it, the Miz is approached to join, he comes down during the match but joins Nexus instead.

Then Daniel Bryan comes from nowhere to take out his old mentor and help defeat the group that left him to be kicked out by the WWE.

Is it 90 days yet???

I thought he was fired, not suspended?

fired, but he's referring to his 90 day no compete clause, although I doubt that would apply with the 'E. I wouldn't mind seeing Danielson return and feud with the Nexus, but not yet, maybe a bit further down the line. Danielson vs Barrett would be a great match.

Maybe it will be Vinnie Mac as the 7th member, that would be curve ball, could set up anything in the match.

Towards end of match, have hitman say Vinnie still left against couple of Nexus argument, and superkick from HBK to hitman, leaving vince, Nexus, & HBK together.

97 all over again, with HBK retired he manges Nexus

I must say it was a disappointing ending to the PPV. Where do Nexus go from here? No Miz cashing on sheamus after he got RKO'd on the announce table? Undertaker returning and getting destroyed? Other than that, Bryan returning was a pretty huge shock, and it going to be interesting to see where he goes from here.

I shouldn't be shocked WWE would f**k up so bad as to have Nexus lose this early in the storyline but I am. When I read Bryan was back I was so stoked but what they did with it was ridiculous. But Bryan's popular, I guess there was no way they were going to turn him heel, stops them cashing in on him with merchandise.

Hulk Hogan V2 does it again. Beat Cena down, stack the odds against him, and then watch him superman his way to victory.

...against a bunch of rookies who were nobodies 8 months ago.

Nexus came within an inch of beating the best collection of wrestlers in the world yet people are b****ing about it.

Hard to please.

Yes but why should anyone believe they're a credible threat now? In their first 'real' match, they lost. Stupid stupid move. It's the invasion angle all over again...All that momentum they had is gone now.

Except the match wasn't about Nexus, it never is when Cena is involved. Jericho/Edge turn on Cena during the match, Edge spears him, he gets beaten down by Nexus before he finally tags to Bryan, Miz then comes in and takes out Bryan leaving Cena two on one, who then gets a DDT Headfirst on the floor before taking out both remaining members of Nexus.

For the record I don't blame Cena, but the way he's pushed is cringeworthy. I can't remember the last feud of his that actually interested me because it can only end two ways...

1) With Cena being triumphant against all odds.
2) With Cena about to be triumphant against all odds until his next feud comes along to screw him out of a win.

And the cycle continues.

Do you really want to take some of them seriously? The important ones like Barrett and Bryan will move and do something important. The others will either sink or swim.

What would Nexus win accomplish, I mean, who is eventually going to rise up and beat them? Triple H? Randy Orton?

Results...

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston ended in a No Contest when Nexus interfered.

Melina def. Alicia Fox to WIN the WWE Diva's Championship

Big Show def. The Straight Edge Society (CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury) via pinfall

Randy Orton def. Sheamus via DQ. Sheamus retains the title.

Kane defeated Rey Mysterio via pinfall to retain the World Championship.

Post-Match Taker returns only to get destroyed by Kane. Eh.

Team WWE (John Cena, Chris Jericho, Edge, Bret Hart, John Morrison, R-Truth and Daniel Bryan) def. Team Nexus (Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, David Otunga, Skip Shefield, Michael Tarver and Darren Young) when Cena out-lasted everyone.

This. My prediction is by RR only 5 will still have a job. By Summerslam 2011 only 3 will still be in a job, but Bryan and Barrett will be top level main eventers. If that's the case, then the storyline will serve its purpose.
