Great win, happiest ive been all year. Feel compelled to mention all the guys ive been bagging who played well, Brad and Daine, best games of the year. Type of performances that justify having them over perhaps talented younger prospects. Sorro and Moses wow, they delivered in spades, huge performances from each. Also thought Tago was really strong running the ball. Anyway well done lads, keep making me look stupid and ill be a happy camper.

Hosnestly Milky is something else atm, he making me change my mind about him just being a good squad player. Need to see more of it but geez hes either solid or better at everything and has a knack big plays.

Wasn't much to say before. We have some players who are bums, Schneider still is but the others found some form. Coupled with having close to a full strength side.

Seemed early on we lost a guy through HIA every game. Coupled with the 14 never getting on saw us struggle.

Less bums now and we getting wins
Yes

NRL refereeing standards are absolutely woefull. The penrith defender going for the ball was taken out mid air by a warriors player and it was just play on for the warriors first try. Disgusting...
You just have to look like you're watching the ball and its all good.

Yeah you're probably right. To the MRC Scotty apparently is probably 'flavour of the month' so to speak.
The previous suspension was a total stitch up, this one I don't think he can have too many complaints about. No-one means to do it, but its a risky technique. He got away with it in the Tigers game because he didn't contact the legs, this time not so lucky.

I am not sure about the ‘what can Scotty do’ line of questioning. Surely if he completes that tackle by wrapping his arms and then driving through the hips (putting his shoulder torso through the chest) rather than crumpling and using his weight to affect the tackle he would be safe.

Regarding Jenkins, it really is one of the best stories of the year. A bloke that could only get 4 games at a bottom 4 club looked destined to be a reserve grader - backed himself and took a punt at joining one of the premier NRL squads of all time through hard work and effort - and has basically made it.

He was even MotM in a team still briming full of players with 2,3,4 Premiership rings. That would have done him a world of confidence, and it is well deserved. I thought he was amongst our best players again on the weekend with perhaps only Sorro having a bigger impact.

He might not be as fast or as powerful as Alamoti but as others have basically said - he is a better footy player by playing smarter and trying harder. He is also far less prone to error which I like and I am sure Ivan strongly appreciates as well.

I remember several years ago he was a very well-regarded prospect at NSW cup level but he was stuck behind a production line of more physically gifted players who all blossomed quickly. It seems like he only needed a bit more time, a few chances and someone to believe in him to reach his potential.

Regardless of how our season goes - the Rise of Milky would be another Ivan success in converting a 'struggling journeyman' into a well-regarded 1st grader.

So Blaize coming over the top plays no part in where DWZ ends up?
