Souths have finished first and will play the Titans on Friday night at Skilled Park.

So what exactly do Souths get out of busting there arse all season and finishing first ?

Why cant it be played at Redfern Oval ?

Because U20's games always predede the NRL finals, and if there is a match up with a side they'll do it. They're not going to play it at Redfern Oval that's for sure. Who really cares U20's is a joke comp anyway.

I do not think it is a joke of a comp, far from it, the only issue I see is that it is not accompanied by a reserve comp.

Stupid idea to mix up the order of the games, the McIntyre system is pointless if not played in order.

By playing this game (1 v 8) on the Friday, assuming 1 win, the 4 v 5 game becomes essentially pointless as neither team can be eliminated.

I'm sure it wouldn't be a 'joke' comp if they were in Souths position.

Even if Parramatta were first, its still a joke. The quality of the games are terrible, high scoring games, most of the players are no where ready for first grade and the ones that are 21 next year will either quit or end up playing park footy. 20s is too young either extend it to U23s or bring back Reserve grade.

The team that finishes first has to play at the team that finishes 8th at their home ground? Whether you think that it is a joke of a competition or not that is far from fair. The top 4 teams should have got the choice of where they would have liked to play their game out of the 4 venues. We really do need a shake up from the people running this game.

On topic: The team that comes first is now punished by having a 5 day turnaround, losing its home ground advantage and giving that advantage to the team that came 8th!

I dont see why the warriors 20s match couldnt be held there?

You would probably get 5, 000 or so there.

Im pretty sure it has adaquate facilities for television coverage.

Redfern Oval is a great facility. It would fit around 5000 and it is kept in top condition.

Very very very unfair.
Titans scrape into the 8 and get a home game in front of all their fans with 7 days to prepare against the minor prems who'll get 2/3 days prep at best.
Our game is a fkn joke at times

Yeah it's crazy the same thing happened with the Roosters. Why not put Souths at SFS game and NQ in QLD
