Mara looked very uncomfortable, his leg was heavily strapped and he appeared pretty gunshy compared to his free-running first game.

I would suggest that the best option is to put Lance to hooker, Kev to fullback, and Little Bill on the wing.

Close second and Ivan's most probable strategy is Jerome to fullback, Moon to centre, Lance to hooker. We simply cant go into a game of this importance with Lewis Brown at hooker - we need a "specialist".

As little disruption as possible is necessary, which makes this such a troubling little dilemma at this stage- hooker is such a key position, but so is fullback. Hopefully we don't have to disrupt Hohaia (who has been playing better) at fullback in order to compensate for our hooker shortage

Good compromise. Problem would be if Mara was hurt early, leaving us without a specialist hooker. But I guess then Hoho would go to hooker, Ropo to FB and Moon to centre.
Could be our best bet. However a very important match to be taking risks with.

If Brown plays hooker it should only be to give the main hooker a rest. He should primarily play 2nd row and then move to hooker to cover for whoever the main hooker is. Maybe I wasn't so clear on that when I suggested Brown. Even then, that would only be in the case where we can't field two specialist hookers with first grade experience.

in my opinion it's simple - if 2 of mara/heremaia/henderson is fit, no problem

if only 1 is fit, three options:
1) moon on the bench, comes on at centre, ropati moves to fullback, hohaia moves to hooker
2) bill tupou on the bench, comes on at wing, locke moves to fullback, hohaia moves to hooker
3) extra forward on the bench, brown plays as the backup hooker (he was a junior halfback, came to the warriors as a hooker- former understudy to robbie farah)

if it's worst case and all 3 are out, brown to start at hooker, hohaia to move there during the game as per options 1 or 2 above


of course, they could just throw a trickshot and include elijah taylor or nafe seluini in the team, but I don't think that's likely given it's finals and neither have debuted yet.
