Who is Braith Anasta's missus?? She is in need of a 20 piece kfc bucket and a mudcake coated in cream. Christ, her neck was as thick as my wrist!!.

What's the go with most of the players chewing chewy???

Lol I think the flogging refers to the other match where the sharks beat the roosters 42-18 in round 13.

dallym points for that match were:
Roosters v Sharks
3 Paul Gallen (CRO)
2 Nathan Gardner (CRO)
1 Trent Barrett (CRO)

the comment was:
Carney still have managed points when his team was in a 3 week slump...he got points against the Sharks, when they got flogged that game ...

so the flogging can't refer to the round 13 match as Carnage didn't pick up points for that round

What irks me about these types of awards is you can have 10 brilliant games and pick up 30 points and even if the rest of your games are shockers, you'd still win. What about if you were the player who just missed out each game? So even if you play consistently well all season, you'd finish on zero points. And rep. games are also unfair in that you're in a game with the best of the best, so chances of picking up points are negligible, whilst some might be playing against a weakened opposition in the club round. Anyway, that's my rant and for all the awards they took out last season, where are the Bulldogs this year? And hopefully that's where the Chooks will be next year!

Yes congratulations to Boyd, he has had a wonderful season. I hope he keeps it going into the semis.

I agree that its an absolute joke that Bennett still hasn't won coach of the year, despite taking a team that was considered a mid-lower top 8 side on paper to consecutive minor premierships. I am sure, however, that he wouldn't give a sh*t.

Well done to the winners, I'm sure they enjoyed it.

But Player of the Year is just a consolation prize if you don't win the premiership.

Ask Trent Barrett of he would have preferred his DallyM over a Premiership Ring...

Can anyone explain to me how the captain of the year works? I might be biased here but i thought Hornby should have got it by miles. The Roosters were one of the most penalized team in the comp and we were the most disciplined.
On Carney, i thought he deserved his Daly M but not his 5/8th of the year award. You cannot be 5/8th of the year when you only played 13 or so games there. But then again Hayne gets awards for his 5 games a season.

Consider the competition too, he beat out Slater, Dugen, Hayne, Coote, Gidley & <insert another 6 outstanding NRL fullbacks here>.

This is a very good point Rev. Darius Boyd won the best fullback award in a era of outstanding full backs - Carney is getting his choclate starfish licked by being a resonable 5/8 in a poor era of 5/8ths.

I also think the daily telalie is still sulking because Darius does not do interviews or at least do them well. :x

Yeah, I agree. Hornby's been pretty consistent this season and Anasta's gotta be one of the most overrated players of this era.

IMO the Dally M points system should be a 10/10 rating for every individual player in every game. Much fairer.

Hi..I googled Darius and Bigone...is this the right thread?

Divine, sorry it took me so long to respond, but I was put off by the nutters who have gatecrashed my thread.

Who or what are these "people"?
They sound very unbalanced.

Except for, maybe, Big Pat and Big Norm Provan.
They could be with us.
I hope so...
That would make four.

Anyway... let's hope the other nutters "drop off the line" and leave us (four?) to talk in piece.

I am free this Sunday at 4pm.
I'll log-in again then.
Should be quiter.
