I attended the Leagues Club after the 1977 and 1979 Grand Final Victories (as well as following a few of the losses) and the place was jam packed. I intend to go again this year and would suggest that if Saints do indeed make it to the GF and do win movement throughout Kogarah and parts of the Gong will be almost impossible.
Looking forward to it.
And I've followed Saints for long enough, through thick and thin, to not worry about upsetting other supporters or the media. I'm still enjoying the ride.

I didn't get that far in 1977. The traffic wasn't moving so I ended up at a pub - struth, I think it was the Bat and Ball. lol... 33 years. What I do remember is some of us standing wandering between bar and footpath heckling the few Parra supporters, and being polite to the helpful bar staff.
