Whingers.

Yes, some of the decisions (not all ffs) were suss.

None as blatantly sh*t as Archers penalty on Fui in the dying minutes last year, and finding out the mob that scraped in on the back of that decision was $1 MILLION OVER THE SALARY CAP!!!!!!!!!!!

The refs made some poor calls on both sides but that is always to be expected. I thought at halftime the Roosters were well on top but couldn't go on with it in the 2nd half. The Dragons have been the better side for the last 2 seasons and deserved to win today as they were the better side. When your side gets beaten by the score they did it is always the better option to just accept defeat. Be proud of what your team achieved this season.

I have just watched the first 60 mins or so on fox. I am going to have to agree that the Roosters were refereed out of the game, even more so than I though while watching it live.

There were at least 5 occasions where the Roosters had the call go against them, each of which really could have caused a momentum swing. I know, a lot of 'what ifs' but really, if even 50% of these calls/no calls did not occur, the Roosters would have been in a much better position to win the game at the 65 min mark.

- Morris putting foot into touch, Gasiner scoring 3 plays later
- Dragons not square at marker/too deep at marker through the game. Roosters could have gotten at least 3 penalties from this (and probably would have if it was the regular season)
- Soft penalty to Dragons when Weyman got hit high
- Morris passing to Saffy who was offside (albeit there was another one from the Roosters later on)
- Minichello tackled without the ball, ruled scrum to Dragons, should have been a penalty to Roosters
- Perritt penalised for tackling Morris in the air, pity, just prior to that, Hornby ran Perritt off the ball - should of been a penalty and, secondly, Morris dropped the ball before Perritt tackled him
- Perritt gets slight push in back from Morris when contesting a bomb, should have been a penalty (just) and not a goal line drop out to Roosters
- Dean Young scores a BOD try, surely this was a knock on??

At that point, the Roosters were refereed out of the game.

I am not a Roosters fan (I am a Panthers fan) but, honestly, I think the Roosters, with all these ref stuff ups combined, they were denied a fair go at winning the game.
I'm reading what you're saying and not seeing any favouritism? That's not even taking into account the calls that went the roosters way which you've left out.

I'd like to see an inquiry into the NRL referees as a whole

With this betting scandal nonsense going on it just seems really fishy to me. They have far, far too much influence on the outcome of a game

you are a complete tosser..
reading the garbage that comes out of your keyboard, anything you write is akin to childish jibber.
wont you go away and let the big people speak ??

I feel sad that Jon Green got dropped! Possibly the first WA jnr to win a GF if he'd have played.

Good point lockyrulz. Roosters have lost 4 Grand Finals in the last 10 years. If it wasn't for 2002, they would probably have the chokers tag.

the first roosters try was a square up for the dragons first try, both should not have been given. other than that the better side won.

We were never going to win in 2000. We were under dogs in all but 02 and 03. Won one, lost one. Dogs were favourites in 04 if memory serves.

I love all the whinging and crying from the haters. Great entertainment. Adds immensely to my enjoyment of our 16th Premiership.

Please sir, can I have some more?

The refs farked up a lot last night.
The Dragons took advantage of all the help they received and put points on. The Roosters didn't.

Hayne and Archer didn't follow instructions from above to help the Dragons, they just frequently get sh!t wrong.

It's sad that refereeing takes a front seat in post GF talk. It shouldn't be like that, but unfortunately with the current crop of pea headed whistleblowers it was always inevitable.

Say it a few thousand more times. It won't matter.

Nah I know it won't matter. There are a few possible reasons for that.

A) You are too drunk to distinguish fact from fiction.
B) You are too stupid to distinguish fact from fiction.
C) You are too arrogant to distinguish fact from fiction.
D) All of the above
