New Big Jersey Donations

Hi Guys and Gals,

Hope you have all enjoyed your break and are all ready for the up and coming season.

So basically as the title says, im passing the hat around to raise money for a NEW BIG JERSEY. The current jersey is old, mouldy and VERY HEAVY and I really feel for the major when he brings it on match day.

The new jersey will be LIGHTER and made of a different material that will be not smell after getting wet (similar to parachute material), also it wont need a suitcase to bring to games making it easy to travel with therefore we can bring it to more away games.

So guys and gals, any donations would be appreciated whether it be $1 or $10.

Our aim is to have it ready for the Round 5 match against the dogs.

Guys and girls, your help on getting behind all of this is greatly appreciated. As Pete mentioned, the old girl is one heavy SOB and destined for the great big coat hanger in the sky. Not sure if anyone had noticed but one of the sleeves has all but come off and now is held together by a great big bunch of knots along the seam. She has served her purpose and its well and truelly time for an upgrade. Its going to be bigger and better then ever. The lighter model will also be able to be transported to away games more simply, especially ones that require air travel. The current model weighs in excess of 35kgs. The parachute type material will only be between 10 and 15kgs and well within the airlines weight capacity for checked in luggage. So this will also benefit our supporters in the Goldy and Brisvegas. As well as our comrades in Perth, NQ, Melbourne and Auckland. Muzby, if you're out there. Have a word to George and the boys from the MBDS and get behind this great initiative.

Hi guys, I would just like to thank everyone who has donated so far.

We have recieved $465 so far.

I would like to thank everyone who has donated and let everyone know. Even if its just $5, it will go a long way.

A special mention goes out to Rastafarian and St.Linnane. they have both donated $100 each. Also, Serbdragon has pledged $100.

Im thinking that by the end of this week we should have at least $2000.
