Tinkler wouldn't make a play for Bennett unless he was sure he was going to get the money one way or another. Tinkler is actually a smart man, that's kinda how you become a billionaire. Nobody has any idea where Bennett will go, but your "Newcastle wont get him because they can't promise the money" argument is bullsh*t. Do you really think money will be the only thing driving his decision?

-Direct 45 minute flights to see his family.
-A lifestyle similar to the Gong.
-A club that isn't obsessed with being in the spotlight.
-Distance from the Sydney media.
-A good young squad where the players aren't on crazy overs.

I agree with the others, are you able to provide a source or sources that back up your claim Bennett wants to win premierships at 3 different clubs?

The fact he stayed so long at Brisbane indicates more that he is about building something lasting, (which using your logic means he is a lock to stay at Saints and continue to build what he has begun there,) rather than your assertion that he is after a premiership with a club not named Brisbane or St George. If your claim was true why did he not leave Brisbane after 1992 to make a run at a premiership elsewhere?
