This might have something to do with a certain board member being in a very influential position at Channel 9 but the Roosters did play some good footy last year.

These are raw figures. The more games a team played; the larger the numbers. All the AFL and NRL teams that played in the respective Grand Finals played more matches than other clubs and were the top ranked clubs.
If a club was in the Grand Final and was not included in the top 4 there would be something incredibly wrong.

The more viewers, the larger the exposure for our brand and our sponsors.

I think everyone understands what you're saying but this isn't a popularity contest and I don't think anyone has claimed it to be such? This is just great news for the club, if you're bitter then I'll buy you a box of tissues but please stop posting irrelevant sh*t.

Another successful year and we could be back to our 2004 days of pulling 18-20,000 crowds. And big memberships will see that it doesn't drop as badly if we hit a couple of bad years. Big things ahead.
