Just to let everyone know that tomorrow night at 8.30 on One HD they are playing the movie footy legends with Mathew Johns.

Yeah, he & Andrew Voss have cameos in it plus a few well known ex-players like Brett Kenny & Cliff Lyons. The main character is played by Anh Do.

The movie "The Final Winter" is the one where Matt Johns is one of the main actors & as most people know was written by Matt Nable ( ex 1st grader with Manly & Souths )

agreed its a cheesy movie full of schmaltz and the footy parts are equally cheesy, agreed on sampson (used to play union in melbourne apparemtly)

From memory they used footage from a Newtown v Dragons NSW Cup game in The Final Winter
