cutie will go to RU - he burned too many bridges when he left. Went around saying he didn't watch or like Rugby League and he thought ALF was the best ever, his missus is the sister of alf player. He has laid his fumbled bed. If he is a flop, he will go to European Union.

Do you think, for example, in 2 years time Souths will care what was said in some fishwrap??

By 2013 in their fruitless search to finish higher than 9th, they will give him $600K+ without blinking an eyelid.

And as for, well Id like to play NRL, but the missus brother is an AFL player. Thats a excuse if you want one but a couple hungie thousand will make that go away easy.

Did any of you catch the footage in the news showing cutie try and kick the ball against the Western Bulldogs> It looked sh*te and sprayed off the side of his boot. Karma is a bitch.

I hope the NRL CEOs never try and lure him and Dopey Folau back to the NRL.

they will all be signed if hey wanted to come back..

The warriors signed a guy who with with his mates kicked his pregnant girlfriend to kill the baby and left her for dead.. in a pool of blood !!!

todd carney....etc....

Hunt and Falaou have sent themselves and family up for life financially they could play for free with any code or club as they made enough money to retire...

I think it is great TBH, they have little to no coverage up here, but it is all they are talking about in Victoria.

The AFL have spent millions on 2 players, that have done nothing but raise the profile of League in Victoria.

Any publicity is good publicity, and especially good when your rival is paying for it. LOL

Actually it is correct. Hayne said he had not been approached and the AFL said they had no interest in him, they couldn't even spell his name right which showed how much they cared about him. No surprises on the day of his signing that he claims "interest", nice marketing move to try and give the NRL some credit.

Thanks for the link anyway as Loudstrat couldn't after I provided him links earlier.
I couldn't be bothered spoon feeding gimps proof of public knowledge.

whats more peculiar, really, is how we in RL can be claiming any kind of moral high-ground when, for literally DECADES, we were happily poaching players from Union, and largely for MONEY! f**k, if we dished it out, how about we try and be a little bit gracious when some of that finally comes bacck our own way.
I don't recall offering any Union player the biggest contract in the games history only to park them in some obscure Z grade side

All this anti-other codes business doestn make us look strong, it makes us look like a small pissant sport that isnt big enough to be gracious and generous to others, secure and happy in the knowledge that whatever they do, we have will always have a game that is special.
You have to be kidding? Union and AFL have the chip on their shoulder about us. I dont recall Cronulla making a massive offer to Gary Ablett, do you? Nor do I recall Gallop saying that Union will be dead by 2020 like Oneill said. I cant recall France RL booking Stade De Paris and doing nothing with it just so French Union couldn't run a test.

Real men dont bitch, boys. Leave that to the girls. Get over it, get on with it, and when you have a bit of confidence in yourself, why not actually wish them well for choosing to follow their own path... one that they would have been well aware may well be full of pitfalls.
Yes, I wish cutie and Folau well as they f*ck off to oblvion.

And I have enough confidence in myself not to watch a pissant sport that is only big in the three closest cities to Antarctica.

I would love to have Folau back in our game and anyone who is against this is being very ignorant of the marketing power Folau has.

The above post is classic AFL Troll , claiming that the ramblings of a couple of internet posters is representative of Rugby League as a whole.

The only thing that is certain about Hunt and Folau is that a) they won't ever be "banned" from playing NRL and b) they will be back playing NRL prior to their respective careers ending.

Troll? I have been following RL since I was born. Ive been a daily reader of this site for 4 years. I dont post much becuase I live in the Uk and dont get to see many games (last time was ANZ about 2 years ago). I dont post much. So what? That doenst make me wrong and if just for once I express an opinion you dont like, that doesnt make me a troll.

f**k me, what is your problem with a different opinion on a DISCUSSION board?

Also instead of just calling me a troll - why dont you actually answer the question? What has he actualy done wrong? Legally or morally or otherwise? I notice you simply avoided that altogether.

You mean the same marketing power the Midgets are using to pull in members? Have you heard the dope speak? He can't string a few words together.

He does not have to speak to have marketing power. Its his image that is marketable not his media skills.

Yeah now he does. Although hes losing it by the day and in 4 years time he'll barely be known in Queensland or New South Wales.

Four years is too long to be out of the game unless he wants to sign for 1/5th of what hes getting now I doubt he'll be back.

You mean a relatable Sydneysider image, a "local" boy who rose to represent the elite of NSW sport?

So so true. The most hilarious thing about the AFL in this saga is that they would have been hard pressed to find anyone Sydneysiders relate to less. He was a Judas to NSW before he crossed codes, played for a team that cheated a Western Sydney team out of a premeriership and he played for the Broncos (nuff said).

They should have gone for the softly softly approach (like they did with the Swans) if they couldn't get someone like Hayne, Marshall or Jennings.

After having a difficult time starting off in the game as a defender, last week he was tried for half a game as a forward and looked a lot better.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IRLji3_8VE

Then today he played forward the whole game, kicked the first goal of his career and 4 for the game.

If he continues to develop and improve at this rate as a forward, I'd say the odds of Izzy seeing out his contract would be pretty good.
