Cooper's tackle

Certainly the best tackle I've seen. I was standing up half way through yelling out "Oh NO!" and that happened. I still can't get my head around it.

Strong bloke and massive ticker!

Thats the thing with Cooper, we have always rated his rock-solid defence, he is not the classiest centre in attack (like a gaz or GI or Jennings), but he is better than average... he busts tackles with strength, and he always does the little things right with setting up other players or scoring himself, especially when he is in great form, which he was in 2010 and 2011 so far.

Ive only ever seen Cooper play 2 bad games, the 2 Origin games in 2010.. I have no idea what happened, and its a shame he never kicked off with rep footy, but selfishly im glad to have him fit and fresh for our club!

I have to agree with you there..
Realistically, St George are dead set certainties again this season.
No-one even close...

I would rate it as equal as Matt Rogers a few yrs ago (Tits V Knights).
I think there was 2 pts in it with about 2 to go..
Cant remember (Might have been Patterson )Got to the tryline ,was about to put it down & Rogers front on held him up & folded him backwards..was incredible.

Long season and anything can happen, confidence is great but over confidence can be fatal. Having said that we are looking great, not playing our best and still winning IMO.

lol, I hope our players don't think that way......

I think he was just taking the pi$$? Id hope so anyway! I know we say it every year, but this is the most competitive competition I have seen, there literally is no easy win, every week its a blockbuster... the only exception is maybe Parra, but thats just a lean trot, they have a good squad and will come back.

The Storm are the obvious threat, but if sides like the Storm, Tigers, Dogs, Roosters, Manly actually played to their potential it will be a brutal finals series.

Id mention Souths, because their side is dripping with pre-bought superstars, but I cant see them actually pulling it together in 1 year, with so little finals experience either.

Get your hand off it !!!

I don't think you watch many games.

Have a good look at the Storm....they too are the real deal.

Any team in the top eight after round 26 has a good chance to win the comp!!
