Team v Bronks

If McKinnon is fit, he should be fullback-no exceptions
If McKinnon is not fit, Brown should be fullback-no exceptions
If both McKinnon and Brown are unavailable, Meaney or Latu should be fullback-no exceptions
If all 4 of McKinnon, Brown, Meaney & Latu are unavailable, Moltzen still should not be fullback

Beau Ryan should not be in first grade again.

Point 2 - we need Brown in the centres until Lawrence comes back so until that happens, put Meaney there as 2nd choice.

Why was Ryan playing at fullback during the game?

The is what Sheens does, he stuffs up the formation of the team, look at tonight.

Ryan played at fullback,
Moltzen played on the wing,
Marshall fed the scrums, :x
Ayshford moved from right to left centre,
Brown moved from left to right centre.
Utai moved to left wing.

I don't think we can play with 2 wide running second rowers because that is how he is playing the 2 back rowers. Please play one and let who ever it is be complimented by a secondrower who will just tackle all night.

Moltzen needs a full game in NSW Cup before coming back as the benchwarmer, if indeed he must come back.

Ryan, please introduce yourself to the Balmain coach at Henson Park tomorrow afternoon.

Both Ryan and Moltzen were getting bogged in all the kitty litter they were playing in...or whatever it is cats play in!!!

I've been watching this game for a long time and I am sorry, I just don't see what Moltzen offers this team. The only good thing he did last night was hit a few holes (don't most first graders) all the rest was crap. He still throws his Tuiaki passes to wingers in preference to running the ball back at speed. Look what the Bronco's fullback did all night.

I know he isn't a fullback but gee, he didn't even contest that high ball when YoYo scored...let alone take on Thiaday. I could nearly see the fear in his face.

I don't think the Broncos are going to win this comp, they are steady but not great but I can tell you, our team is definately not going to win and I highly doubt on that effort we are going to make the 8.

Oh yeah, Robbie, enough at lock already, that move stopped being successful after the Saints game last year.

Lui playing & Moltzen will play at fullback. McKinnon`s groin still no good.

Went back on my word, even though I knew Moltzen was at FB, and watched it....he makes Talanoa look like a good player and look where he 'eventually' ended up...where he belongs in reserves. Which is where Moltzen should be, or at least playing @ 7 where he goes o.k..........and don't get me started on Beau Ryan

Last year I actually thought Beau had a few good games at fullback until he lost his confidence after the Roosters debacle of a game. So when I saw him back there last night I was thinking it would be a good thing, get that pussy Moltzen out of there and give Ryan a crack. What a mistake that was. I know we're struggling with injuries so I don't see any drastic changes coming but I find it hard to believe that there aren't a couple of good young kids that would run & tackle hard and lift the enthusiasm of the team.

If it`s so easy to hit a hole & make a line break why is Moltzen & Simon Dwyer the only ones in our side this season to have done it ???
We obviously have plenty of other very ordinary footballers in our side that can`t do this ???

I think quite a few Tigers supporters are forgetting that the strength to our side is attack, we won`t be winning many games 8-6 this season i`ll give you the tip.
Get rid of the few blokes in our side that are capable of making line breaks and we`ll get the wooden spoon.

So you'd keep Moltzen at fullback and give away two tries for each one he scores?

He plays half or he plays reserves. Pretty straightforward.

No I wouldn`t play him at fullback, i`d play him in the centres. You don`t score points, you don`t win games, it`s that simple.

Mate, play him in the centre's and you will create a three lane freeway to the try line. The Other teams will be running at him all day, at least at full back he only has to tackle the ones who break the line.Shannon Mcd was a world beater compared to Moltz.

Moltz was a champion touch footballer--no tackling and no catching!!!!

He`s played in the centres for us quite a few times before and filled in quite a few times this season without any major defencive problems. Atleast he can score tries, we have plenty of others in the backline who can`t tackle and are far too slow to worry any opposing defence.

He'd get eaten alive in the centres. Moltzen v Inglis/Hodges/Idris.....
You must be a sadist to want to see that.

Besides Chris Lawrence we don`t have any other centre who can control Inglis/Hodges/Idris, you saw that last night didn`t you??? You also saw Tim Moltzen twice slice open one of the top 2 defencive outfits in the competition, I know for sure and certain Wade McKinnon wouldn`t have been capable of doing that and Blake Ayshford was like a deer in headlights every time he touched the football.
An easy solution once Lote comes back, name Moltzen in the centres inside Lote, but have Lote defending at centre for the first 5 tackles, BUT always swapping on the last tackle so that Lote is the one who drops back for the kick returns.

Rather than rooting around and chopping and changing I'd prefer just to see a specialist centre come in from 20s or reserves. There must be one among both reserve teams or 20s who can handle himself in firsts. If a centre can't handle himself defensively and needs to be hidden in the line in first grade he shouldn't be there.

Nothing much in the lower grades I can assure you. Jake Clarke would be the pick of the bunch, he`s a real good trier with a good footy brain, but he too lacks size, he isn`t lightning fast and I wouldn`t say he defends all that much better than Moltzen.

Moltzen did not "slice open the Broncos twice", what a load of crap. One try was a three on one situation that my dog would have scored, the other was all Lui, albeit nce running line by Moltzen.

This argument that he is an outstanding attacking player is crap.
