Justin Hodges best centre in the world?

Week in week out when he's not injured Hodges is without the doubt the best centre in the world.
He may have not performed so well for QLD or the Kangaroos like Inglis has but when it comes to club footy he rips in every week and is always the most dangerous player on the field.
Even with the injuries he has had, he still got the goods.

If all centres were fit for the next 100 games ... I'll keep Hodges thanks

Inglis is now starting to look fit and act fit, Gaz is nowhere near either of them and never was

Hodges and Inglis are tuning up beautifully for #6 in a row :D

Oink !

Inglis is better on his day. But Hodges puts in every game and actually goes looking for the ball to get involved. Unlike inglis. Therefore I'd rather Hodges on my team

I actually thought he was quiet on Friday night..... I think Gasiner was a lot better throughout their careers

Hodges is the Broncos trump card for sure. And he is certainly in form. Nice to see Pigskin spouting his usual bullshit. At their absolute best, the ordre is Inglis, Gasnier, Hodges, but there really isn't much between them, and any sane person would want any of them in their team.

Lol How does Gasnier enter this thread ?FMD If Gasniers name was Mark Smith we would never had to endure this weekly rubbish ...he is an average centre nowhere near a Hodges or an Inglis at their best. Gasnier never does anything particularly brilliant and never has , he's just a soft finisher with a famous name. Next.

Actually the first person to bring Gasnier's name into the thread was Pigskin, the Broncos supporter with a geniused view of histroy and an inferiority complex. No-one else needed to mention Gasnier because it goes without saying that he was always a better player.

The proof imo was when the two played for Australia, and Gasnier always played well. Hodges (and his fan club) used to whinge that he was hamstrung playing on the unfamiliar left side and that was the only reason Gaz always "looked" better. So they switched sides. Gaz was still better (more linebreaks, tries) and Hodges was still average (did nothing)

Hodges is good, but I have to agree he never got the better of Cooper.
As for splitting Gasnier and Inglis etc etc, they have both had periods of shitness.

Gasnier 5 years ago maybe but there is a few other centres in the game at the moment that I would chose before I even thought about taking Gaz,just off the top of my head ,Hodges, Inglis, Morris and Lawrence

Hes been the best (when not injured or suspended) since 2005. The guy is a f**king gun.

Gasnier is also very good, way better than an "average centre". hes not what he once was where he used to do that shimmy and beat at least 1 player nearly every time. Inglis is the man also but Hodges is just epic.

Injury prone, would you spend that much salary cap on a player that misses most of the season?

I'm surprised at how well hes been playing, here's to hoping he doesn't spend much time on the sidelines due to injury/suspension.

Lets not fly off the handle before state of origin, hodges has proven he doesn't have the legs to make it through an origin series and back up after. If hodges continues his form after origin I might change my mind. Can't understand all this gasnier hate either, on his day he's a freak, I'd have him in my team any day
