I wanna dedicate a thread to all the players in the twilight of their careers, players who many of us were watching when we were rugrats.

So, the players I want to mention this week are Del Piero who is 36 and still playing as good as ever, he scored two on the weekend in the first half for Juve (shame they blew the 2-0 lead though and drew). And then there's Seedorf (35), who scored two in the last few weeks.

Feel free to throw in some other name...

The evolution of a genius. Made his debut in the 1990-1991 season!!! I was 4 when he made his debut and turn 25 next month.

Amazing.

Arguably the best of the veteran outfield players still playing.

I guess not many here watch Serie A, but those who do will know Crespo (who's pushing 36) is still playing decent football for Parma and has found the net quite a few times recently.

it would be stating the obvious. it's not unusual for a goalkeeper to play til late 30's or even 40. Even Neville Southall back in the day was playing for Everton until age 40. While we're on it, David James is another...
