Haven't those blokes been there before?? Lewis for mine and to a degree Farah are unlucky. Ennis must stick to the game plan the fool. Cannot understand the King selection at all. Jenning is extremely lucky and I'm very pleased Dugan got the nod. As far as Pearce goes - who else can be picked to play half?

You can always judge the strength of a team by the quality of players that get left out. No Farah, Tolman, Hayne, Watmough, Lewis, Mullen, Idris, TLL etc is a testament to the quality of the side the selectors have picked.

Ricky had his big meeting with several Blues players pre-season, lets see how they went:
Jarryd Hayne: Dropped, despite being in decent form and having a blinder less than 24 hours before the side is selected
Todd Carney: Left out, personal reasons though, fair enough
Mitchell Pearce: Selected
Paul Galled: Selected and captain
Gidley: Injued
Luke Lewis: Dropped, despite having a strong game just 2 days prior.
Greg Bird: Selected

Out of the 7, only 3 actually make it to the side (with 1 maybe 2 left out for reasons other than form). Way to go Ricky, good luck getting that 1 win you want so badly.
