He is better positionally at fullback, and is not just dangerous in broken play. Hayne is good, but is rather limited in his ability to do the normal fullback things. Defensively he is a liability sometimes. Yes Dugan had a couple of poor moments last night, but positionally he was sound. I believe Hayne is a 5/8th not a fullback.
Interesting he's better at positioning than Hayne despite Hayne having handled everything kicked at him this season without issue, including JT and Bowen this week, meanwhile one of the two most dominant kicking displays by any team this season was the Tigers at the expense of Dugan, two weeks ago. BTW the other most dominant kicking display was Round 1 Parra vs Warriors, no prizes for guessing who's boot did the domination.
Hayne is a defensive liability sometimes, but Dugan just has
poor moments? Sound logic. Like two clubs games in a row (two of the three? full club games he's played this season) being completely ineffective defensively at the back
moments.
Hayne's a 5/8 huh? Well that's different to form now isn't it?
Just another clueless bandwagoner.
