Reports on radio that he will be leaving the NRL for 2 years to do his Mormon Mission.

You are allowed to go on Mormon mission later in life. Most do it in their late teens or early 20s but I heard on a NBA radio show that some basketball stars do delay it so it doesn't interefere with their career (though many do the mission too aka Shawn Bradley)

Now THAT'S a rumor. None of this "I have mail." or "A mate's gf's cousin works with a guy who's brother delivers the paper to the club and he swears he saw someone who looks like Des in the carpark. Might have been Fabio though." crap.

Hope it's true btw. Gould/Des would be a quality combo.

It's been going for a few weeks this rumour, last i heard on Foxsports is he will take the 2 year extension offered by Manly...
