Reserve grade would be playing in the VFL, like Hunt. This is 1 or 2 steps below that.

Firstly they say they are targetting the kids that dont want to play RL because of the much bigger Poly kids.
Then they buy a Poly to market it to those kids..

AFL knows that they can kill the NRL with only $1 200 000 000. They fell a tad short on their TV rights deal though, so they cant buy every player yet. Maybe they can afford the Storm though. Just.
