to all those sticking up for him, you obviously haven't been watching the game closely.

- he can't play the ball correctly, silly mistake which cost us a try in the end down his side where him and burt missed a tackle for them to score.

- Hayne gave him about 2-3 balls about 8 metres out from the line and he just gets crunched by the defence, can't make a break if his life depended on it.

- drops 2 balls tonight that could have been caught, the last ball wasn't a great one but it wasn't even for him, it was for burt.

- Morgan and his partner in crime Uisele have got to be the worst two backs running around in first grade. It's been a while since our backline has been this weak, so disappointing.

Any team that would sign Jordon Atkins as a first grade player has got some serious depth problems. My uncle is involved with the Titans and they were more than happy to offload him to Parramatta. This is parra's problem......lack of player talent and first grade standard players.

Rubbish thread...lets single out the talented kid with like 3 games under his belt who's simply there because we haven't another option, for a two point loss in (apparently) horrible conditions where 20 something errors were made across the board and 14 points were scored all game....

Makes perfect and total sense

On your first point, he wasn't the only one to get crunched in defence. Newcastle's defence was excellent tonight, their linespeed was great. Allgood and Shacks got smashed everytime they took the ball up.

Yeah, Morgan was the only one to drop the pill tonight

was Loko injured?
only reason I can think of to leave him out of that team tonight. Horo or Smith should make centre before Ryan Morgan

Hayne gave him two to three passes out from the line, and he didn't break through because he was useless... He also received them with two players right in his face.

I liked the comment about 'halves' giving him crap passes. Well they were crap passes.

Is it a matter of deserving it? Assuming Loko was out through injury/illness, who the heck else do you pick?

A woeful miss in defence on Newcastle's only try. Burt had to come in and try and make a tackle because Morgan missed his man - twice!

Having said that Wes Naq... had a very good game, and is a class above any of our centres this year.

Why not put Ben Smith in centre and start Horo, Push Webb to the bench?

Ryan Morgan is not first grade material, and everyone can go on about his defence being strong and he is only young but that still doesn't mean he cuts it at first grade level.

I can't see any improvements in this kid, I was hopeful after his first few games but he is getting worse.

Isn't Naq off contract next year, We should offer him something, can't be worse then what we currently have.

In all honesty, We can't be getting rid of Reddy next year, Even if he isn't a superstar he is leaps and bounds ahead of Morgan and Etu.

He struggled tonight, but to single out a young bloke in just his 4th games is a bit rough. Wes had a good game and every game i have seen from the Knights this year he has played well.

We would have won yesterday if we had a decent centre who could do something with those superb passes that Hayne was throwing last night ! Damn we r really missing the strength of tahu & grothe :(
