He is crap and there are not 2 ways about it - has shown nothing that might justify his position.

People seem to forget we have the worst centres in the NRl. We all know about the halves but geez - Walker and Morgan as our starting centres?

I have no faith in SK at all.

well i can tell you now you wouldn't have faith in any other coach cause there's no way anyone can get anymore out of this mob than SK could.

as for Morgan? 4th first grade game at the age of 21, it takes either a brave man or an idiot to write the kid off this early...he with Loko and Allgood will be better players by March next year.

Ryan Morgan ran for 100m last night - more than either of our front-rowers: http://livescores.smh.com.au/matches/nrl/match7180.html?page=player-stats&refresh=1306624850897

A woeful miss in defence on Newcastle's only try. Burt had to come in and try and make a tackle because Morgan missed his man - twice!

No, Morgan slid out to Uate when Burt came in. When Burt missed Naiqama, Morgan tried to come back in but it was too late.

Burt was responsible for that try.

With Loko - you can sort of see his potential, he just needs better coaching to read the defence.

With Allgood - very impressed with him - needs to learn to offload

With Morgan - he is not first grade material. We can have the same debate next season because this kid has nothing.

I doubt that you'll be the sort of person that would be here to debate this next season..by the way, Morgan actually outplayed Chris Lawrence in a trial match early this year that to me tells me that he's got enough ability and potential to make a real fist of this game.

I'm all for writing him off, it is just so much easier that way...

The kid has done alright and like Loko, has the enthusiasm but is still lacking in execution. Singling him out is pretty stupid in a game where alot of people put in poor performances.

I'd much rather Morgan running around and developing in first grade than Hicks or Walker and as Stagger said, he has shown enough to suggest he will be a decent first-grader.

guys like Blake Ayshford, Beau Champion and even Junior sau weren't that much better in their first dozen or so fg games...actually even Idris struggled to find his feet.

I think he's done alright, let's not forget he's only played a handful of games and last night was his first game back from injury.

Some real D$$k heads on this site.....

4 games in a struggling side and people ready to show him the door.
He looks like a good defender and has the potential to be an outstanding defender. He is strong and can tackle.I cant judge his speed and strenght yet or skills cause he hasnt been given many chances.

Any team that would sign Jordon Atkins as a first grade player has got some serious depth problems. My uncle is involved with the Titans and they were more than happy to offload him to Parramatta. This is parra's problem......lack of player talent and first grade standard players.
And yet he has been one of our better players in the past few weeks, I think he goes ok.

Actually it's worth mentioning Ayshford Stagger....I think Morgan reminds me a hell of a lot of him as a player. Last night aside, he's good on his feet, runs good lines, and is a solid enough defender for his size. Those writing him off can do so at their own peril, there's very obviously ability there.

This is probably my gripe, is that he walked straight back into the side from injury. Obviously thats not his fault, but for mine he is not a proven First Grader that he just gets to walk back in. Sometimes he looks to me to be over awed by it all. Id drop him back for a couple of weeks, maybe build his confidence back up. A good coach can re-shuffle ;-)

I think Morgan does have some ability but is not quite there yet , I'm just confused as to how some players get a rails run into 1st grade and some have to beat their head against the wall to get a run .

I have liked the look of Morgan since he walked into the NYC side.

I am happy to give him time, he is not our problem!

I wonder how much of his issue last night was being at left centre?

He ran a 'left to right' angle in all his runs, when clearly a 'right to left' was needed. But his step is off his right foot (and not bad) which requires a 'right to left run' then stepping back past the sliding defence.
