That looks like it would actually reduce capacity... And where is the tunnel if you have hills on both sides? Or will teams have to run through the crowd.

Looks good for an urban park... Not for an NRL stadium.

I have nothing against having hills at NRL grounds. But this plan just has to much grass. They could have easily put in large stands behind some grass hills. You could even build some apartments / shops under the stands to make some extra money

Poor Manly. In for a tough slog. The people in charge at Manly should seek out the brains trust who engineered the multiple and continual upgrades at Kogarah and Wollongong. And urgently.

The issue here is that the ground is owned by Council... If the council are determined to design it like this then Manly have little room to manoeuvre.
