How many times a game does Hayne throw the ball to no one???

It's because the poor bloke has lost all confidence, has no support in our cardboard cutout of a halfback and is basically not a 6.

He is not a 5/8. Coaches have f**ked him up. Just put him back at fullback.

He is at his best when he is running the ball and that has been lost because our attack is flat and the opposition can more easily nullify him.

Which is why we bought a new one.
Yep, and I hope we use him there too. Hayne is without doubt the most damaging runner in the game so why sacrifice that talent and force him to try and do what doesn't come naturally?

At the start of the season everyone was saying Hayne to 5/8. FFS you can't change someone's position and expect instant results. It takes time to adjust. That said, Hayne really needs to stop doing unnecessary cut out passes

We will mate. Kearney can also see how easily Burt gets dominated with his kick returns. Hayne will be back at fullback in 2012.

Now that Morts has put Wenty out of commission, it might be time to bring him back to firsts and see if he can ensure we get the spoon!

Honestly, we MUST put Hayne back to FB next week. Just tell him to do whatever the hell he wants in attack, put Matuia at 5/8 and I'll play halfback (or just leave McGuire there, not sure which would be worse?)

The added bonus would be that we get a winger who is a real winger.

and instead just take the tackle?

Who is he gonna pass the ball to if not the cutout? Everyone else is heavily marked, and the mythical inside support play of Burt isn't there.

Hayne at 5/8 is not working real well. Sure, he's our only attacking option, but he was producing the same plays from FB as he is from 5/8 - without the defensive workload and with the extra freedom to run every now and then.

yeah everyone is heavily marked, so he's doing the smart thing and throwing it to NO ONE!!

he played shit - people should be content to admit he plays a f**ked game every now and then
